## What is Wonderbox?

Wonderbox: The Adventure Maker by AQUIRIS — Wonderbox sets players on an exciting action-adventure journey, and introduces them to an ever-expanding platform where players can make and share their own adventures with friends and family. Wonderbox taps into gamers' creative and explorative minds, delivering an endless field for imaginative play. In the game, players traverse beautiful screen-sized dioramas, each box carefully-crafted spaces where the adventure flows. They'll face a path full of challenges, enemies, puzzles, and platforms. The challenges, like the boxes, are limitless. Players can grab their friends, create a party and have a blast exploring together. In the Creator Mode, players will have all the tools they need to easily build their own adventures: blocks, characters, and items like swords and grappling hooks. Each comes with set behaviors and allows players to easily create game content using the same tools that the developers use themselves. See how blocks magically combine into stunning structures to build environments, give life to customized characters, hide treasures, place enemies, and design encounters. Building is made easy for players to publish and share their new adventures with friends and players around the world. Gamers of all ages can dive into an all-new entry in the builder genre with this unique game from award-winning developer, AQUIRIS.

SEVEN WONDERS OF THE GAME
1 - The Adventures
Accept the call, and your journey is set: to have fun! Prepare yourself to face a path full of challenges, enemies, puzzles, and platforms. Every time you open the game, a new road of trials stands between you and the heart of adventure. Only the brave will succeed.

2 - The Creator Mode
Playing an adventure is cool, but what would it be like to create your own? You have all you need: Blocks, Characters, and Items. They come with premade behaviors and allow you to create an entire adventure using the same tools and content we use ourselves. See how blocks magically combine into stunning structures. Your finger is all you need to build environments, give life to characters, hide treasures and place enemies. Take a chance! Publish your adventure and share it with friends and players around the world. Such creativity might even be featured in the Wonderbox gallery.

3 - The Boxes
These are the core of the game: the carefully-crafted spaces where the adventure flows. Visuals are colorful and often breathtaking. Don't get too cozy, though, because a quiet sunset box might lead to one with nightfall or sandstorm. From box to box, there is a deep chain of interconnected environments to explore. Each one is unique, like a masterly grown bonsai: small in shape, immense in meaning.

4 - The Heroes
Choose the hero you want to be. Customize your character with a vast diversity of possibilities. Earn more as you play and upgrade your collection. Assemble the coolest, the bravest, or even the weirdest hero for your quest. Travel through the boxes, talk to the villagers, cross the portals, and avoid the hazards. Playing this game is all about exploring, fighting, jumping, and solving.

5 - The Challenges
Some boxes are amazing. Others are a maze. Sometimes you need coins to buy the sword to beat the goblin to get the key to open the door to finally escape. A treasure might be hidden under, above, in front of, or behind a simple tree. Discover! Rotate the camera to explore each corner of the Diorama. And beware: the puzzles are limitless, just like the adventures.

6 - The Party Mode
Expandable fun! Up to 4 players can form a party and play any adventure together. Call your tribe and cross the threshold. Even a dark dungeon gets brighter when you're surrounded by well-equipped family and friends.

7 - The Soundtrack
Be amused by the chords of Eric Chevalier, the composer of Rayman 2: The Great Escape. Each note of the soundtrack is there for a reason: to build the perfect atmosphere not only to play a game but to play a hero.

### 5/5 — 5 stars from me! Just one suggestion!

*2023-12-28*

I just started the game and I LOVE IT ALOT!! Especially the building aspect of it, and the graphics are so incredible! The gameplay in general is also astounding and I can’t wait to keep playing further!

All that said though, I only have one suggestion; could you please add a better characterization options, just more detail and variety. I understand the point of when you level up you get new character designs, but I feel like there isn’t enough freedom of making your own characters look how you actually want them to look.

Other than that the game is amazing, even if you don’t decide to make this tweak to the game it is fine, it is just a suggestion after all!

### 5/5 — Data Save Bug

*2023-11-29*

Hey developers! First off just wanted to say that this game ROCKS! I love the premade campaigns, the classic rpg made new, and i love making and playing other people’s campaigns/adventures, as well as my own. All this and more is why i love this game! It would be cooler, though, if i could save my progress and not worry about losing it. I really don’t mean to dis this whole game cuz it’s really great, and doesn’t burn battery that bad. All i’m tryna say is that it would be cool if my progress would save. I thankfully haven’t lost any of the adventures i’ve made, but i have had to start all main campaigns over twice over the course of one week. i know that someone else already left a review on this exact same topic so i hope adding another persuades you to try and fix something. if not, all good! thanks for an awesome game!

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback, Frogger!

### 5/5 — Cool Enemy Idea

*2023-10-18*

Hello Wonderbox team. I know I’ve recommended twenty suggestions at this point, but this one will probably (and hopefully) be an easy one to program, and augment into the game. My enemy idea? The Skeleton. It would be skinny and pearly white, with a shiny iron Viking helmet, but without the horns. It would have a weapon select menu, and you can choose the weapons that each knight in Wonderbox has; the swordsman, spearman, and bowman. The skeleton will act as the “fallen soldiers” of Wonderbox. Their hand will do 1/2 heart damage, and the rest would be a full heart. When placed in the creator, it would simply stand there; but when playing, it would disappear, and when going within a few blocks, it will scarily rise from the ground. When leaving range, it will go back into the ground. There will also be a “traitor knight” version, with double the health, and a shiny iron helmet with the traitor knight “horns?”. When a normal skeleton it defeated, it will drop 1-2 coins, and will have a 20% chance to simply crumble, then reassemble itself, and then finally, begin to fight again. When the skeleton king dies (the traitor knight version), it will drop loot of your choice, (just like the regular traitor knight) and will have a 50% resurrection rate.
Hopefully the skeleton and its leader can make it into Wonderbox, and will inspire many adventures to come.
(Also these enemies should go into the castle feud section of the creator menu.)
Thanks,
OceanhornPro

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback and suggestion, we will take it in to consideration!

### 5/5 — Awesome game, but...

*2023-08-04*

I LOVE this game. It's definitely one of the more unique mobile games out there & the reason I initially tried Apple Arcade to begin with. You create your own hero, traveling thru player- and developer-created adventures to find the Heart of Adventure. Yup, it allows player-content, and the creativity of the player base never fails to amaze. Adventures run the gamut from simple, easy platforming to full-on multi-player brawls with frustratingly tough monsters to complex puzzles that require serious brainwaves to figure out.

With all that said -- and understand, it's one of the best offerings on Arcade! -- it does have some issues. If you're on iOS, you definitely want to find a controller. Trying to do adventures with just the default touchscreen can be very frustrating, if not impossible. Also, adventures can get very repetitive, since you cannot change any of the text that the NPCs say, all the monsters are the same and players are limited to whatever updates and styles and objects that Aquiris takes the time to put out. Mind, the player base is EXTREMELY creative, but it'd be nice to get more regular updates and item sets added to the game.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the feedback! 🌟

### 5/5 — Really fun, just a few suggestions

*2023-04-18*

Hi! My name is JacksonPizza810 and I made Save the King! and Find the flowers. I think that this game is very fun and addicting, and deserves five stars. I just have a few suggestions. Maybe you could have a feature to disconnect different boxes from each other, because one time I had an inn and a boss battle right next to each other. It was really annoying, and I had to hide the portal between them under the land. I also think you could have a collection of items that is underwater-themed, and if you add an environment block that is completely underwater, your character could automatically start floating in the air and looking like he/she/they is swimming. You could even add a mode for any character that gives you something. You could turn on a mode called “Trick Mode” where the person tells you that they need something from you like usual, and they will buy it from you, you will trade, or you will buy it from them. You get it, you give it to them, and it turns out that that person is evil! Thank you for reading this! Note: Some of these features may already exist. If so, please comment how to access these! Sincerely, JacksonPizza810

Edit: I figured out how to connect and disconnect boxes! lol

**Developer response:** Hi Jackson! Thanks for your suggestions and feedback, stay tuned ;)

### 5/5 — Amazing game 🤩 (could use some updates)

*2023-04-05*

Bosses-Enemies like the summoner king, traitor knight, or goblin chief need to take more hits, preferably 5 with the royal sword. Also, the game could benefit from more bosses, like a giant spider whom can slow the player with webs or climb walls, or a giant sandworm that pops out from multiple locations, a giant bird who can cough up explosive eggs while flying above the player, or even a white mage who casts many spells that can slow time, throw fire balls, balls of ice, and revive all dead enemies in a box.

Items-The game could benefit from so many more items, like a great-axe that deals as much damage as the royal sword but functions as an axe, a spiked shield that does a small amount of damage when pushing an enemy, a great-bow that does more damage than a regular bow.

(I have more ideas but these are a few)

### 5/5 — Very fun!! Recommend

*2023-03-19*

So, I got this game yesterday and I have been obsessed with it! It’s a very cool game, and I always love games where you make your own game, and this is one of the best. But, it kind of looks like it’s just for little kids, but it’s NOT. It is actually pretty complicated and fun for older kids (and maybe even adults). One of the best Apple Arcade apps! It lacks the ability to make your own textures/ dialogue like other games, but A: I don’t know how that could even work with the graphics and B: they want to keep it kid-appropriate. My suggestions for the developers would be to add a few more “packs” (or whatever you call the things with themed blocks and items). You have already done “European” architecture, and desert “Middle East” architecture, so you should add “African” savannah packs, “Asian” bamboo theme, “South American” jungle theme, “North American” prairie theme, and “Australia and Oceania” island themes. Just suggestions, so that lots of types of medieval time period cultures are represented.

### 5/5 — Amazing game 🤩

*2022-12-11, version 2.4.0*

This is an amazing game, it gets boring after a long time, so I recommend adding in a lot of ideas from fans, I thing mechs might be to overpowered, so maybe armor could be better. I also think that you could totally do a whole survival type world kind of like dragon quest games. New NPCs with custom text would be incredible, along with dogs, for the non cat community. NPCs that follow you would be insane, like a guard or somebody you need to protect… The game is perfect as it is, and doesn’t need many changes, unless you want to keep people who have been playing from the beginning. Two more things, more types of Goblins! It could be so great! Also, more additional stuff (upgrades) for the player.

### 5/5 — Another cool suggestion

*2022-10-29, version 2.3.1*

Hey Wonderbox Team! It’s OceanhornPro. I am a golden creator and have published around 30 some adventures.
Along with my industrial update preposition, I think it would cool AFTER you guys make the industrial, to add a whole underwater, mermaid, oceanic vibe!
It would add Coral, Seahorse enemies, and it would have a mood ‘underwater’ which makes everything look like the ‘rainbow grove’ from the Masters of Magic, except it looks ‘underwater-y’.
I think this would be extremely versatile and would add SO much more ideas and concepts into Wonderbox.
Also, you could add some armor that you could equip, kind of like a heart container, and it would protect you from one hit, then would break. The enemy would not deal any damage while the armor is on, and would look silver in color.
These suggestions could totally make it into Wonderbox in my opinion.
I hope that you can add this into the game!
Sincerely, OceanhornPro
