### 3/5 — Game’s mid

*2025-09-09, version 0.1.9*

The game although is fun in its own way.. It’s rather confusing as well.

### 2/5 — I LOVED the original on the web! This is not it.

*2025-03-26*

I was so jazzed when I saw that this was an available game and immediately downloaded it, but it is very different, and not being able to see openings makes it very difficult to play. As jazzed as I was to find it, I am equally disappointed trying to play it.

### 2/5 — Graphics are too painful to use

*2024-12-30, version 0.1.7*

You can’t make the writing any smaller. It’s unreadable. The arrow dragging power at is hard to see and the screen shakes you can’t see where the ball is going. I’m so confused how this was made for mobile phones it’s unplayable on the phone - maybe it’s a pc to mobile conversion?

### 4/5 — Ridiculous game

*2024-07-21, version 0.1.7*

You need make this game more sensible or get rid or it, I’ve had 21 people try it and agree it made my someone who needs treatment of some kind. I wouldn’t give if it any star to be honest.

### 4/5 — It’s great, but Netflix☹️

*2024-05-13*

I really like the game, but won’t be playing because I know Netflix too well. I’ve been with Netflix from the beginning and really don’t like how they treat customers or great shows. I give it 4 stars because it’s a great game, but won’t be playable because Netflix.

### 4/5 — Ridiculous game

*2024-03-11*

It’s like this game was made of people out to play mind games with people. No hints no clues just ridiculous holes to be played. Whoever made this didn’t make it to be fun. Like a bunch of smart aleck show offs. Really disappointed.

### 2/5 — Annoying

*2024-01-02, version 0.1.7*

Just too annoying to be fun. Even the early levels require such precision that you end up getting 20+ over par. Far too small a margin for error for a fun game.

### 2/5 — Very pretty and soothing sounds

*2023-07-28, version 0.1.5*

But the gameplay is not much fun. I was hoping for a typical golf video game experience but its more like shooting marbles. Its a shame too, because the game animations, graphics, and sounds are wonderful. I bet some people might like this but not for me.

### 1/5 — Stay away from “trip modifiers”

*2023-06-11*

If you’ve played this game, you’ve probably seen “trip modifiers” that change how the ball works. You get them by earning points. There are five of them, so naturally you have to have played a while and racked up enough points get them. There is no description of what each one does, only a name like “shuffle ball” or “crazy ball” or “roguelite ball” whatever that is. The problem is, if you choose one, there is no way to go back to the default ball. The only option, as I was told by customer support, is to uninstall the game and reinstall it which deletes your progress. Seems like a better option would be to let players choose to go back to the default ball instead of having to delete the game and lose all progress made. Or at least warn players that there’s no going back if they choose one of the trip modifiers. It’s too bad, because I love this game, but this is a major flaw.

### 1/5 — I WAS exited

*2023-05-12, version 0.1.5*

After seeing my childhood flash game but remastered the in the same type of way the original Wonderputt was I was sad that I had to use Netflix and all that just to play Wonderputt

### 2/5 — Vision impaired disadvantage

*2023-04-10, version 0.1.5*

Game is hella fun BUT frustrating af as a vision impaired gamer! Add red visable trajectory when aiming so i can SEE where im putting the ball!! Tiny white dots are impossible for me to see…
Zoom/spin option for board would be good too-360° view of ball (could also hide stuff that’s only found if we rotate!)

Cheers from 🇦🇺❤️❤️

### 3/5 — Amazing but also infuriating

*2023-03-30*

I really like this game, incredible course designs and very pretty overall, this will keep you entertained for hours. However, playing the game itself is…frustrating. Getting a good score is purely luck based, I’ve had this game for maybe a year and I only have three out of the fifteen possible collectibles, after countless attempts. The relic levels are straight up impossible. Whoever tested this game and said “yeah, the average mobile phone user can score this high,” I want to shake their hand and then step on their toes.

TLDR, very fun game but might make you throw your phone across the room.

### 1/5 — Frustrating

*2023-03-29, version 0.1.5*

Frustrating I quit

### 3/5 — Pretty but maddening

*2023-03-19*

It’s odd to me that the game developers chose golf rules for an exploratory game like this. You simply cannot get par most of the time because you have no idea how a certain mechanic will behave, or because a shot needs to be precise but is impossible in the current constraints. The backgrounds and so on are very cool and the new mechanics are interesting, but having a par is unwelcome when you sometimes get an albatross and other times get +35 bogeys. It’s essentially random chance, not skill, which is an antithetical experience for a par-based game IMO.

### 4/5 — Nice game, nice design

*2023-03-13, version 0.1.5*

Generally a fun game to pass time with enough quirks to keep you interested in the next ‘thing’ that is happening.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Frustrating

*2025-06-06, version 0.1.9*

The mechanics of the worlds they create are so different that you can’t get used to how the ball is going to react in any situation. You end up guessing until you finally get it right and then it completely changes for the next hole.

### 1/5 — Awful

*2024-08-11, version 0.1.7*

Terrible game. Looks great, gameplay is sooooo bad

### 1/5 — Cute Game Until Floor is Mantle

*2024-07-25*

The mysic is muzak quality and will rot your brain so much that you continue to play this useless game. The environments look like they were created by a graphic arts class (freshman class). I kept hoping the next level would get more interesting but, alas it did not. Then I had my fill in the “Floor is Mantle” game. The ball was so far off the aim that I just gave up mid play. Now I’m perturbed that it ultimately wasted my time. F-

### 1/5 — Awful

*2024-04-27, version 0.1.7*

Easily one of the worst things in the App Store.

### 1/5 — Why Netflix

*2024-04-07, version 0.1.7*

Why is Netflix getting involved with games? I need to have a Netflix account to play this

### 1/5 — Uninstalled

*2024-01-25, version 0.1.7*

I’ve never come across a game that makes you want to stop playing. For more, see all of the other reviews 3* and under, we all agree on the same things. Holding Netflix responsible for this…

### 1/5 — Tilting Mobile Game

*2023-12-14, version 0.1.7*

The worst and most tilting game I have ever played on my phone.

### 1/5 — Seems to be broken

*2023-11-02, version 0.1.5*

It won’t accept my login information which is 100% correct. Keeps giving me some error message, so won’t even let me play.

### 1/5 — App crashes when trying to play on iPhone X.

*2023-10-12, version 0.1.5*

Can’t boot up the game itself and get into the action. Using latest version of iOS since October 12th, 2023.

### 1/5 — Trip 4 has only 19 of 20 hidden collectibles

*2023-07-17*

Love the game. Thought geometry trips 3 and 4 were too hard until I saw a walkthrough online. Now I’ve been able to finish trips 3 and 4 several times. There’s a flaw in trip 4. It says there are 20 hidden collectibles, however there are only 19. How do I know? Because since I got 19, I’ve played it through 4 more times from hole 1 to hole 100 looking for that elusive 20th hidden collectible. It’s not there. Please fix this.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Good game

*2025-11-18*

I actually loved it. It reminded me of my favorite game on Quest 3, the WALKABOUT mini golf. The animations are beautiful. It is really hard and the mechanism is a little confusing. But I don’t understand why it got this bad review in the App Store

### 5/5 — So so happy

*2025-05-04, version 0.1.9*

I literally kept getting flashbacks of my childhood of my father playing this game with me and I was struggling to find it and I found it I’m so happy

### 5/5 — Post-apocalyptic pitch-and-put perfection.

*2024-11-26, version 0.1.7*

Just your exquisitely animated, subversively designed post-apocalyptic, post-consumerist, post-industrialist, post-EVERYTHING pitch and put perfectionism. Love the madness. Fore!

### 5/5 — For all the haters

*2024-02-24*

This game is gorgeous, challenging, and super addicting. For everyone out there who’s complaining about the difficulty. Quit whining because you’re not being handed an easy win off a dopamine platter. Get good.

### 5/5 — Not a golf game

*2023-03-21*

I usually don’t write envies but this is a triumph.

If you’re looking for the satisfaction of making a hole in one, though, this is not your game.

This is about chewing in the scenery. The art is superb and has this syndical whimsy that I adored. Then you explore. These superficially simple levels have me coming back again and again hoping to unearth secrets (although I would have appreciated them to be more dense).

Really the whole experience including multiple play throughs will not be more than 4 hours.

### 5/5 — E

*2023-02-05, version 0.1.5*

Ec
Eee

### 5/5 — Fun

*2023-01-25, version 0.1.5*

Idk what everyone is drinking but this is a blast. I’m laughing and smiling playing this.

### 5/5 — A perfectly mad and beautiful journey

*2022-12-16, version 0.1.3*

First of all, much like Damp Gnat’s Icycle games, you have to readjust.

The sheer joy of this game is in the mad world you are taken through, the details, the design of the holes, the animation, the transitions between.

The game itself is much like any other drag-the-ball golf game with the usual things that come with it but on your first play through ignore trying to get scores, just simply get to the hole and watch the madness unfold. At every single stage I was laughing with joy.

I’m playing with an iPhone 12 mini and now just want to play on an iPad or computer to see more detail.

Absolutely love this.

### 5/5 — Extremely Polished

*2022-08-31, version 0.1.3*

Love this game. Lots of polish and care put into almost every aspect. I think the gameplay is great too

### 5/5 — Cool game but

*2022-07-28, version 0.1.3*

I wish there were more levels
