Auch heute wieder hat sich die APP auf der Uhr einfach wieder mal deinstalliert weil die WOO wieder mal ein halbdurchdachtes Update geliefert hat. Also mal wieder keine Stats auf dem Wasser. Selbst ihre Animation schafft es nach vielen Jahren immer noch nicht den Trick zu erkennen. Und dafür wollen sie dann auch noch monatlich Geld. Hatte echt gedacht die können sich wenigstens mal einen guten Programmierer leisten nach der Übernahme. Aber das ständige Streichen von hohen Sprüngen und nervige Zwangs Updates ist wirklich keinen Cent wert! Back to SURFR

Je n’ai jamais eu de problème avec le Woo3. Mais le Woo4 a trop de bugs. Parfois l’app sur l’apple watch ne relève aucun saut alors que le woo est marqué synchronisé. Mon woo s’est même bloqué définitivement. Il a fallut attendre 3 jours que la batterie soit vide pour le réinitialiser. Et cerise sur le gâteau : l’app Apple watch refuse de quitter la session (ni enregistrer ni annuler) si le woo n’est pas actif. J’ai perdu ma session, mais j’ai surtout dû supprimer l’application et la réinstaller ! Ce n’est pas sérieux comme boulot….

I’ve had 2 woo’s. Both stopped working lasting about a year. I decided it’s too expensive to keep buying the new one because they’re clearly not built well enough to last. I actually liked the Apple Watch app so carried on using that. However the most recent update seems to have broken Apple health connectivity which I liked because I was also uploading to Strava. So giving up all together now. 
Might try surfr.

**Developer response:** Hi there, thanks for the feedback & sad to see you go. 

Health will come back eventually. To get stable GPS tracking, we had to ditch it for a direct route to our servers for now.

Autoupload von der Apple Watch ist schlecht. Ohne dass Handy dabei zu haben und online zu sein kann man die Session nicht beenden und die Sessions tauchen nicht mehr bei Apple Health auf - ich sehe auch sonst keinerlei Vorteile davon. 
Apple Watch:  Session time muss auf die Hauptseite mit den Sprüngen und am besten größer,-oder frei wählbare Daten in den Info Boxen.
Wenn das alles wieder geht gibt’s auch 5 Sterne

Cannot register on the app. There has been more than one app update and the issue persists. I’ve tried on different phones, different emails and details with no success. Have tried reaching out to woo via multiple contact methods with no response from them. 

Thus pointless paying an arm and a leg for a device that is essentially a paper weight without a working app.

Tras la última actualización te OBLIGA a darle permiso para acceder a tu ubicación exacta SIEMPRE, cuando antes podías configurarlo para hacerlo únicamente al usar la aplicación. Como dicen en mi tierra, la avaricia rompe el saco (grasp all, lose all). Desinstalada.

Bien et très intéressant mais sur les site de vente ou le site de la marque on indique pas clairement qu’il faut le téléphone pendant la session pour avoir la vitesse et d’autres info..
Sinon c’est justes les hauteurs et l’angle d’attaque.

The tricks are not loaded on the app which is the whole purpose of the device. 

First e-mail sent on 21 September with screenshot sent and so on.

We are 5th of November and the issue is not solved with the customer support replying « we are trying to solve the issue ».

No phone number available to reach the customer support.

Hands are tight with absolutely nothing to do.
Those must be the worst 300 EUR I have spent.

On paye son capteur et après impossible de l’utiliser tellement il y a de bug dans l’application que cela soit sur iPhone ou Apple Watch. 
Malgré les retour à woo aucune amélioration. Surfr est bien plus stable.

Hello!
I’m writing to you because I have a problem with a new update.

A device is recording big air session but not recording a training on my Apple Watch Ultra 2.
Everything is properly connected in the settings (applewatch, woo and my phone, it’s the first thing that I’ve checked) but after the session it’s not appearing in my fitness app as a training as it used to be, so I don’t know how many calories I burned during the session. 
Before a new patch release everything was perfectly fine. I recorded woo sessions and trainings in my watch at the same time. But since the new patch is on it’s a nightmare. It doesn’t work at all. I can’t start both: trening session and woo session because it has to be one session only. Before, I started to record a woo session and it was recorded as a training session in my fitness app at the same time. 

Please help! I don’t wanna lost another session on water! Tomorrow is windy!

Since the June 2025 update, the app has become extremely inconvenient to use:

In the previous version, when a session was paused (switching the WOO sensor from "recording" mode – red light – to "standby" mode – green light), all parts of the session were automatically combined into one upon upload in the app, with sub-sessions labeled as run 1, run 2, etc.
This function is no longer available — please bring it back.
Yesterday, I stepped away from my board with the session running on my Apple Watch in "WOO sensor" mode.
When I returned to shore, the watch had automatically stopped the session (probably because the sensor was out of Bluetooth range).
When I tried to start a new session, I got a message saying that I first needed to sync the watch with my phone — but we were riding far from the city, and I had no internet on the phone, so syncing was impossible.
As a result, I was unable to start a new track on the watch.
Meanwhile, the sensor continued recording, but jump height no longer displayed on the watch.
Please fix at least these two issues — they seriously impact the usability of the app.

WOO 3.0, iPhone 13 Pro Max, Apple Watch Series 5

They’ve had some bugs but that’s because they’re working on new stuff. Overall it’s way better than Surfr app.  More accurate by far. (That’s why only surfr sponsored people use it).  Pair it with an Apple Ultra watch or Garmin and you’ll see. Woo is the best one out there and it keeps getting better. Keep it up Woo engineers. 🤙🏼

Die App und der Anschluss an sie Apple Watch sind wirklich toll. Es gibt 2-3 kleine Verbesserungsvorschläge. Die Uhrzeit und gefahrene Zeit sind Mikro klein und die Geschwindigkeit riesig gross auf der Watch. Die meisten Leute interessiert aber am meisten die gefahrene Zeit und gefahrene Strecke. Die Anzeige sollte man anpassen dürfen. Eine zweite Sache ist das drücken der Krone. Manchmal kommt man damit zum Homescreen und manchmal zu einer zweiten Seite der App mit Uhrzeit und Fahrzeit. Das ganze passiert per Zufall. Die Logik dahinter ist nicht zu verstehen. Das Ganze sind behebbare Kleinigkeiten. Ansonsten ist die App absolut TOP!

Ps; после последнего обновления часто врет высоту, добавляет от 3 до 10 метров!!!
