The new update feels so overstimulating, almost like a casino app with all the flashing lights, constant effects, and chaotic visuals. It actually gives me a headache after a while. One of the things I loved most was how grounded and relaxing it used to feel about 6 months ago. Now it feels like every move is trying to trigger dopamine instead of just letting the gameplay speak for itself. I’m also really upset that I can no longer easily see my previous high score streaks. That history mattered to me and made the game feel personal. Please consider bringing back a classic or “minimal” mode for people who preferred the older experience. I went back to playing Woody, a simplified version of the gem that this game used to be (and also the app that led me here years ago). If y’all switched back I think reviews would change! There are ads when you open the app, between gameplay, and even ads that suddenly interrupt you while you’re actively playing. Some last close to a minute, some require multiple screens before they close, and occasionally they don’t close properly at all. I usually just close the app and give up the reward rather than sit through them.
