## What is Woodle?

Woodle is a cozy daily word ladder puzzle. Start with a word and change one letter at a time - every step has to be a real word - until you reach the target. The fewer moves, the better. Can you find the shortest path?

Easy to learn and hard to put down: no timers, no pressure, just you and the letters.

DAILY PUZZLE
A fresh word ladder every day, the same for everyone. Come back daily and see how efficiently you can solve it.

STANDARD MODE
The free daily puzzle plus a few quick random puzzles each day. Four-letter ladders that build their way to the word WOOD.

HARD MODE (Premium Only)
Step up to five-letter ladders that reach the word PLANK. Once per round you can use a Shortcut to change two letters at once - spend it wisely!

CUSTOM MODE (Premium, Free tier partially enabled)
Pick any 4- or 5-letter word as your target and Woodle finds a solvable starting word for you. Once you complete a puzzle, share it with a friend and to see if they can beat your score! Free tier users can play any Custom puzzle that is shared with them by a friend who has purchased Premium!

SHORTEST-PATH STATS
Every puzzle has an optimal solution. Woodle tracks how close you get - perfect solves, your average moves over optimal, and more - tracked separately for each mode.

PRIVATE AND OFFLINE
No accounts. No ads. No tracking. Woodle plays fully offline and everything stays on your device.

WOODLE PREMIUM
