Never get tired of this game but I do get tired of losing games because it freezes when you use the hammer boost. This happens over and over. Had a lot of coins, trophies, and hammers when the game crashed. For a few days the game would not load, so uninstalled and reinstalled the app, clicked on settings and restore purchases. Nothing had happened. There is currency for buying cosmetic stuff and trophies. You gain both when you win and you lose both when you lose. It stands to reason that a good players would have many trophies. You can spend the currency, but as far as I can tell trophies are just an indicator of how often you win. When I go against a player with 12,000 trophies and that person scores 324 of a possible 1,000 points it’s baffling. And when my next opponent with 600 trophies finishes with 924 points it’s even more baffling. But could that just be a skilled new player? My opponents do have one thing in common. Cosmetic items. Avatars, frames, skins for their pieces, and constantly spamming emotes during a match. So when my opponent with 600 trophies shows off cosmetic items totaling $20 or 100 ads watched it doesn’t feel like a new player. Extremely frustrating to watch yourself lose a match you could have won. Taking a break. Will check back in a while to see if they’ve fixed this fatal error and also to see if they’ve added all the new items they’ve been saying are “coming soon” forever. Just a few simple upkeep items could make this a great game.
