No I cannot even reconnect my device to this app!!! Now what do I do with the device and no way to use it!!! All of a sudden my device is showing as OFFLINE. I’ve tried to remove and re-add the device but when I get to the page on the app to add the WiFi network, it keeps on closing. Same router as always. This is insane and unacceptable. Feedings are all set to “on” in the app but won’t go to the feeder. I can “manually” feed from the app but if I have to do that I might as well feed the dog by hand myself! I’m so mad! I paid almost $100 for this stupid feeder that won’t work after 2.5 months!! Total Rip-off! I’ve tried everything! -Signed out of app and re-signed in. -Unplugged feeder and re-plugged in. -Uninstalled the app and reinstalled it. 3 days now I’ve have been troubleshooting this garbage! ### 3/5 — Works but beware *2025-01-25, version 2.0.12* I’ve had this for years and while it works (I am able to schedule large or small portions of food to automatically disperse at my chosen times) the backend password to the device via SSH is a default password that has been leaked and cannot be changed. This is a cybersecurity threat. I disconnected the microphone/camera but use the device anyway. Cats need to eat.. I knocked off a few stars for the unsafe security practices and for the fact that the Alexa integration never worked right. If you are using this device in your personal space please cover the camera/microphone for your own safety/privacy ### 3/5 — Update *2025-01-19, version 2.0.12* Hello. It would be helpful to receive a notification when a portion has not been served due to an empty tank. While it’s usually evident since the top is clear, getting a notification could help prevent issues. There is no way to contact support from the app (number, email, form, anything). Super slow and you cannot edit your schedule once it is set up. A true invasion of privacy and contradicts purpose of device as a service to a surveillance system! I cannot connect to the feeder. I had to come home from my trip early to ensure my pet was being fed. I’ve spent hours resetting it and trying to reconnect—with continuous fail! Like others, I’ve tried everything—reset my network, uninstalled app, unplugged unit, removed batteries, restarted my phone. Can't schedule feedings, can’t send manual feedings. Where's the support? I need to be able to rely on this to feed my pet. That’s why I bought it! Thankfully I wasn’t out of the country when this happened as my drop-in pet sitter wouldn’t have been able to troubleshoot this either. Moving on to a new brand. Can’t schedule feedings, can even send a manual feeding to unit. Tried everything, reset my network, uninstalled app, unplug units, unbind units from account, added them back. Nothing. I’m impressed. *2023-09-04, version 2.0.10* A few years ago I bought eh first generation version of this product and I was never able to get it to work or set up the company graciously accepted my return no harm now foul. But I really missed having an auto pet feeder I was a pet net user for like 5 years until they went out of business and bricked my machine. when i discovered the nEw generation of wopet had come out I got so excited the nEw feeder took 5 minutes to setup on work and it worked the very first time I tried to do it. That’s a testimony to this companies hard work. Apple doesn’t make it wash to set up smart devices and many products from larger companies are much more cumbersome to set up than this one. It was a breeze! The app won’t blow you away with cosmetics or flashy graphics but it is very well laid out and thoughtfully designed. There are some weird phrasing’s like to remove a pet profile it says “remove binding” not sure what that means. But this app is so easy to use it’s very comforting to just have something work. Video quality is great the speaker is very clear and crisp so it play my audio recordings cuarto during feeding times and I love watching the video clips. If you’ve been wondering about a smart feeder like no further than this wopet ### 5/5 — 5 Stars Been using Feeder and App for 4 plus years *2023-05-10* I had to leave a review after seeing all the negative reviews. This app worked perfectly on my iPhone X,11,12,13 and now on my 14. I set a schedule to feed my cat small portions 5 different times per day and then use the app to go in and manually feed her if necessary. I really feel the people having issues are just “technology challenged” this couldn’t be easier. Buy a feeder for your pet set a schedule and then just use app to go in and manually give the pet extra food if necessary. Camera and microphone work great from anywhere in the world.
