Es hat alles gut funktioniert. Leider ist das Verbinden mit dem Gerät und der App unter iOS nicht mehr möglich. Ein Update auf die aktuelle IOS-Version wäre wünschenswert, da das Gerät immerhin 150 Euro gekostet hat und nun die Funktionen, welche uns zum Kauf bewegt haben, nicht mehr funktionieren. Mit Sicherheit geht es anderen Nutzern ebenfalls so. Daher noch einmal unsere Bitte, die App auf die aktuelle Version upzudaten. ### 1/5 — It worked in the past. With iOS 13 it no longer works. *2020-04-23, version 1.2* It worked for a long time. With iOS 13 it no longer works. The feeder will say that it paired, but the iPad will not. Because of this, the WiFi and camera and timed feeding do not work with the WOPET. You can only use the button on the machine. Updated 2019 and 2020, still doesn’t work. Do not buy this device/software. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t Pair *2020-03-21, version 1.2* I bought two of these feeders over a year ago. They were difficult to pair then but managed to get it working. I have a new phone now and I’m trying to pair them again. Doesn’t work. I’m on 2.4G, going through the steps. The feeder dings, indicating it’s been paired, but the app itself never connects to the feeder. It’s been over a year and they haven’t upgraded the app to be useful. Do not purchase this feeder. While it is the only app you can use to connect their wopet brand “smart” feeder, good luck trying to connect it causing it will costs you forever to pair and yet another failure. Since IOS 12 update the app has not working at all. Please update your product to IOS12. It has been useless and it isn’t meeting its purpose which is feeding my dogs automatically. At this point and I spent way too much time trying to fix it. Combining what I paid for both and my hours working on them it is becoming extremely expensive feeders. Almost regretting I bought it. I am looking for a solution. Thanks for any update you may provide. ### 1/5 — Not good about updates *2018-10-03, version 1.2* The app itself serves its purpose; however, since iOS 12 has been out, the app has proved completely useless because all it does is crash. There obviously was no testing in beta or anything to get this ready. Had this update happened while I was out of town, I would have been outraged. The feeders are not cheap and the app that goes with them does not need to be fancy but you better believe I expect it to at least run. All of a sudden it disconnected and won’t re-pair. Unless we can get an update to get it to pair it’s now useless to us and we won’t bother with a new one if it’s going to be made obsolete. At first I tried using meow mix in the dispenser but the fish shapes kept getting blocked. The app currently has no push notifications to alert you if this happens so my cats went without food for longer than expected. Ever since that first time, I have to check the app every time they are scheduled to be fed to make sure there isn’t another blockage. I have already switched to round dry food so hopefully there won’t be anymore issues with blockages but it would be really nice if the app had push notifications to let you know when there is a problem. Secondly, I have found that the video feed freezes every few seconds, especially when trying to enable the microphone or speaker in conjunction. This has been the case on several different networks so I’m not sure if it is a problem with the app or the device itself. . ### 2/5 — iOS12以降使えなくなる問題の解決法発見 *2022-09-05, version 1.2* 私もiPhone6(iOS12)では使えてましたが新しいiPhoneにしてから使えなくなってました。 新規デバイス登録でWi-Fiの設定まで行くと今までは家のルーター名が出ていたのが「Wi-Fi」とだけ表示されて二次元バーコードで読み取って接続してもできないという現象です。(皆さんも同じ現象ではないでしょうか？) 解決法: 本機をペアリングモードにして今使っているiPhone(iOS15.6など)でアプリのデバイス登録をしてWi-Fiの所は無視して「次へ」を押し2次元バーコードが出ている状態で待機します。 次に今まで使えていたiPhoneがある方(iOS12)はそちらでアプリの新規デバイス登録をして今まで通り2.4GhzのWi-Fiに接続した状態でWi-Fi設定でそのルーターのパスワードを入力して2次元バーコードを生成します。 今まで使えていたiPhoneで作られた2次元バーコードを本機に読みとらせ「ビー！」と音が鳴ったら現在使っているiPhoneのアプリの「次へ」を押して本機とWi-Fi接続をさせて下さい。そうすると使えるようになります。 ※2次元バーコードを解析した所、中身は「ルーター名とパスワード」が入っているだけだったのでこのやり方で解決できました。 ### 2/5 — Mit aktuellen iOS funktionslos *2020-07-06, version 1.2* Leider funktioniert das Verbinden des Geräts über die App nicht mehr ohne weiteres. Der QR-Code der aus WLAN-Name und Passwort erzeugt wird stimmt nicht, die App bekommt wohl vom System den WLAN-Name nicht übertragen, somit ist auch der QR-Inhalt falsch was dann zur Folge hat dass das Gerät das Netzwerk findet. Ich habe den QR-Code mit richtigen Inhalt selber erstellt, dann hat’s geklappt. S:“WLAN-Name“;P:“WLAN-Passwort“; jeweils durch den individuellen Inhalt ersetzen, QR-Code erzeugen und diesen vor die Kamera des Geräts halten. ### 2/5 — Potential.. but fail. *2019-03-12, version 1.2* The tech is there - this thing feeds my cat great. But the camera barely works and the clock format is abysmal.
