The satisfaction comes from working out the best words yourself. I got fed up playing people who could not take losing and now only play against the machine. I have played over 2000 games and my success rate is very pleasing. Playing the Chumbot Geniuses you learn many new words, but you don’t win many of those games. BAD TECH SUPPORT!!!! *2025-06-02* *****edited****** I have been getting a stupid runaround with tech support for a month. I got an email today saying they don't support the pro version. REALLY??? I purchase your app and you won't help now??? I have had issues buying hints Or starting new games since the last update. I've been TRYING to work with customer support about it but they are useless! They tell me thank you for contacting them and that they are working on the issue. So I wait for them to work on the issue and I get an email saying since they haven't heard from me for a few days they are closing my ticket. I told them I haven't responded to them because they told me they were working on it and there's really nothing new for me too tell them but I certainly don't want them to close my ticket because the issue hasn't been fixed. Then they'll responsond and say they are working on the issue so please don't send any more emails about it or my request will be moved to the back of the queue. So I don't respond and then I get another email saying since they haven't heard from me, they are going to close my ticket. How do you actually get any real help with issues? Used to be one of my favorite games and I've been playing it since 2013. But I'm about to dump the game due to lack of Any real luck getting intelligent response from support. ### 1/5 — cannot access my account *2025-05-16, version 2.15.0* for whatever reason I was logged out and have tried to log back in but to no avail, it keeps telling me to check my internet connection, yet I am connected to the internet 🥲 ### 1/5 — Recent changes are extremely annoying *2018-11-17, version 2.4.0* I have enjoyed this game for 3 years, but the latest update includes many changes that have not enhanced the play, but instead have created distractions. Most notably a new banner that flashes across the middle of the game telling you whose turn it is. First, it was previously already clear whose turn it is, so this was completely unnecessary. Second, it blocks the view of the playing board. Third, it cannot be turned off in the settings. I even contacted support and they verified this new “feature” cannot be turned off. I find it highly annoying and distracting and will not continue to play unless it’s removed or can be turned off. This game used to be relaxing; now it’s annoying...so why play it? Please fix it, Word Chums. ### 2/5 — Great game *2025-10-21, version 2.15.0* This is a fun game with amusing characters. I enjoy the levels of gameplay that range from easy to genius. Have played this game for years. Mostly it’s good exercise for your brain. Just left the game to write this because for two turns in a row, I found a word in the Scrabble US dictionary to use. Placed the word and this app didn’t recognize it as a word. Don’t you use the Scrabble US dictionary ❓❓❓. This happens on a regular basis so WHAT GIVES?? Another major issue is the high frequency that the computer gives all vowels or all consonants. Guess you just want more $ so people have to buy bombs. A third major issue is how the computer often waits until the last turn or second last turn to throw out the Q or the X or the Z or 3Gs or 7 high count consonants. NO FAIR. I was able to use it for a while but it has now frozen and despite trying to update it nothing works!! I have to delete and reinstall but it doesn’t last long and ends up stopping again So annoying. !!! ### 2/5 — Bad bug on Apple ID *2025-01-09, version 2.11.3* There is is issue when signing in by Apple ID the notification says the not allowed to sign in into this account contact support until that problem. Is fixed and I am able to use my Apple account passcode to sign in I will not play the game gets two stars because of it will give it 5 if you can address the problem so far bad review please fix ### 3/5 — Notifications Don’t Work *2025-01-16, version 2.11.3* I like this game, however, it is disappointing that the notifications don’t work. Their solution is to uninstall the app, reinstall the app, and that should solve the problem. I’m tired of doing this. The Notifications is buggy & needs to be fixed. When was the last time the developers updated this app?
