Then after closing the app and reopening it the ads came back. Lol. Edit: The app developer says that after canceling that ads come back. Except in the app store it says my subscription is still active for the remaining time that I paid for. So they're just running a complete scam and also lie to your face since the exact same thing happens to people who don't cancel their subscription. The amount of ads is ridiculous so I decided to try the VIP pass. I got it and the next time I opened the app, I got more ads. Why bother having an ad free choice if it doesn’t work.
