It said you could disable the ads but I don’t see a way to do that. ### 2/5 — Too limited *2017-11-03* Nice animation but overall, the game is somewhat limited and quickly gets very repetitive. There are only like 20 word lists and the game cycles through them over and over. It became do annoying that I deleted the app after 10 minutes of playing. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — can NOT turn off sound *2023-09-13* The new update has benefits but the major flaw, every time it starts up, sounds is on and the first thing it does is play loud, unnecessary noises which when one is already listening to something like a podcast is really annoying and as noted annoying. Personally I prefer my casual games to be silent so I can play them when I’m listening to something else. This is a simple fix. Allow me to turn off all sound in the preferences and make that choice sticky. Can't get the game to work. You'd think it'd be a simple swipe of the finger to mark words but nothing happens. The clock keeps counting but you can't mark any words. Dumping this one. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work-period *2017-11-02* I installed this a few minutes ago on my Ipad tablet (new). After opening the app, it took me straight into a timed “game” of word search (which I thought was different, but fine), then wouldn’t allow me to circle/highlight using my finger any of the words that were clearly there! Quite frustrating. There’s a settings button on the bottom which also did not work and did nothing when I clicked on it. There’s a “back” or “start over” (?) button too that did nothing to change this ticking screen counting the fact I had been there 7+ minutes with no words highlighted. I even went to the help button which took me to their website trying to email them to let them know and am unable to reach them that way either. It’s like a fake game, by a fake company? Thanks Too many bugs..sometime the game freezes and you can’t highlight the words. Also, i got the ad-free game but couple of days of playing, all of the sudden it got full of ads again in the game. ### 3/5 — Mostly good. *2024-10-18* The game is mostly good when it works. It does not save the grid level you choose. So if a 9x9 grid is what you want great, but if you prefer a 12x12 or 15x15 you have to change each time you open. I purchased it on 11/03/17. Once the first ad popped up I went to the app's Settings, Home where I had to sign in with Touch ID. It confirmed I was then ad free. The game itself is nothing unique. There are many identical games. You do have the option to change the grid size to increase difficulty. No actual Internet play against opponents. ### 2/5 — Doesn’t fit on X screen *2017-11-17* Disappointed that they updated the app this week, but the top and bottom of the puzzle is still off of the screen on my iPhone X.
