This game has more than its share but the game was still worth playing even with the ads. However, there are some ads like for “Figgerits” that cannot be closed after you watch the ad. You can try to wait it out but will never allow you to continue your game. You end up losing your progress on the current game when you swipe it closed and it can end your streak count. If these type ads continue to show up, it’s not worth playing and I will delete the app. ### 2/5 — Disappointed *2022-07-17* I paid to have ads removed just before the update two months ago and then they came right back after the update. Also, archaic and unreal words are still being used. Can’t say I like the new format, enjoyed seeing my ranking against other players. It is flashier than before, but not as user friendly. Love this game, paid to remove ads. Well worth it! Allows you to put letters in any box which helps a ton. Lost a star in review due to non usable words. So-so isn’t a word you can make, so why is it there? The developers said they were deleting non usable words but today I got intl. (short for international) HOW DO YOU PUT IN A PERIOD? Punctuation should not be part of an abbreviated word and guessing that was annoying. BAKAW was another. Then they updated it and made it worse. I’ve reached a run of 80 consecutive successful solutions but now some of the words are increasingly obscure and not in common usage. There is no such word, it is an abbreviation. PLUS, the period is not an available ‘letter’. Screwed up my whole streak as I had to forfeit the game and start at 0. VERY DISAPPOINTING!! ### 4/5 — Great Game with One Small Flaw *2022-03-05* I love playing this, but after I’ve solved the puzzle there is no way to X out of the stats screen that pops up. I’d like to be able to see the board again afterwards in order to look over how many guesses it took me to solve it! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Not in Dictionary *2022-08-01* So far after playing this game 87 times, we have encounter at least 10% of the words are not even in the dictionary. Makes this very frustrating to play. I believe these words are erroneous so that you have to use coins or watch their ads to solve the puzzle. Some examples; verry, tomoz, aline, chook, etc. Are the developers just plain illiterate? Save yourself the money and stick with the once a day NYT Wordle game. ### 1/5 — Don’t bother *2022-07-15, version 1.1.0* Way too many words that aren’t even in the dictionary. Too many ads. Many “words” are not real words found in a dictionary. For instance: Tanto Ahull Secus Jildi Crapy Pomos Furth Gratz Thame Blige Howay are all “words” used in the game but are not in my English dictionary.
