## What is Word Reader?

Skinny Books 2, the second Word Family Reader, is an easy and fun way for children to learn to read. The stories with audio and games use rhyming words that have the same ending sound but a different beginning sound. Chuck who had bad luck and Mox the ox and his box are just two of the entertaining stories.
The Word Family Reader approach is endorsed by educators as a great way for young children to quickly learn to read and acquire a basic knowledge of phonics. There are no pictures clues in these app stories. When children read them, they are truly reading – not relying on picture clues to recognize words.
