I’ve been using this app for a long time and have been playing on my new iPad mini. Now stopped working and stuck on its Home Screen. I’m given no option to play next game. Why is that?

I have tried to download this game - squares with letters to form words - but it either doesn’t download or it appears as a different puzzle.  Why on earth are you advertising it and taking my focus away from what I am doing if it is not working.
