I like the way the words are highlight ed with different colors and that the games are fast and easy. Looking forward to more challenging games. I was trying different word search app and couldn’t find anything to satisfy me. Until I came across this app. It has EVERYTHING. It has hangman,spider(solitaire),unblock and mine. It is fun,relaxing,and takes my mind off stuff. It’s easy to play the game, but after all it’s only a word search. But the user interface is “very” poor. Only things I wish was bit different, the words are on the same screen as puzzle and all is timed, for me, would be nice if words were shown first then all together on screen. Other mystery are the stars for each game. This is why I only give 4 stars. I appreciate that the puzzles don’t have visual distractions, making it hard to see the letter combos. I haven’t come across a word I don’t know the association or definition to but the timer keeps me hopping. Now I can do them on my phone when at lunch or waiting at the doctors office without taking a book and pen with me. I like this word search better than a paper back and the different colors that comes across when u find a word. I think this is the best word electronic word search I have come across since I don't know when. This game is good, and I learn interesting words! Update- I have used it for a couple of weeks now. The only issue I have is that there are some amusing mix-ups in words or classifications. One puzzle labeled "Geometry" was actually about Geography. Another example is the inclusion of "Horoscope" in the puzzle labeled "Astronomy" (a science), when it should be part of Astrology. ### 5/5 — Amazing app *2017-08-10, version 1.4* I will always and FOREVER call this an awesome and amazing app. I love all the selections you get, and the fact there are over 200 puzzles! I do, however, find it frustrating that I'm having to watch an advertisement after every puzzle. I know that it's necessary to show them to continue to be able to provide free apps but when you complete puzzles in under 3 minutes, it gets to be a bit much to watch them after every puzzle. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — No support Forced review *2018-01-15, version 1.4* Update: Well, I didn’t play this game for a while and now I remember why. I am being asked after EVERY SINGLE ROUND to rate the stupid app. Thing is, I had already rated it five stars before (ONLY because of the reason below). Since they won’t stop being bullies about rating their stupid app, especially when I have already rated it, I am doing a final rating and review before I delete the app. Enjoy your one star rating. You could have had a much better one if A) Your game would unlock the rest of the levels as promised. B) I could actually contact support about any of this. And C) You would STOP asking me to rate your stupid app when you had a (be it unearned) five star review already. BYE! Well, I liked this game at first, but it says once you have 100 stars that the rest of the levels will be unlocked and that didn't happen. So I tried pressing the "contact support" button on the App Store and it took me to some twitter page with like 40 followers. I don't use twitter and obviously can't contact "support" that way. Or if I can I don't know how. It shouldn't lie and tell you the levels will be unlocked only to want you to have to pay to unlock them. It's bull. The only reason I'm rating five stars is to try to unlock these levels. I might have given a REAL good review but this is stupid. ### 3/5 — Amazing app but needs better graphics and words *2019-06-11, version 1.5* I am absolutely in love with Word Search, it is an interesting game but the graphics are kind of odd and weird 😕🙁☹️😔also it is kind of annoying because of the bugs because if you are searching the word and it bugs, you loose all of your progress.😋😛😝🤪😻😺😸 The good thing is that you can have fun with the app and the words are all appropriate for children 👶. ### 3/5 — Game is good *2018-07-17, version 1.5* This game is more than just a word search; you get solitaire, hangman, mine sweep and a block slide game. Honestly, the word search is my least favorite. It’s really hard to get 5 stars because it won’t let you highlight what you want to easily. I am very fast at word searches and I normally get 3 stars. The words are also all very long and hard. I don’t like mine sweeper, I grew up when it was big. The hang man us ehh. I find I play the block game and solitaire a lot. In my opinion, if your game is called word search, it should be a great word search game. I won’t delete it though because I do like the two games in it. ### 3/5 — Forced 5-Star review for a Bribe *2017-05-25, version 1.4* To unlock all categories --> you MUST give 5 star review. Right now I'd actually rate it: 3 stars. So I gave up opportunity to unlock all categories. TOO MANY ADS --> and no way to pay for ad removal! If you create an ad-free version, I'd pay and give a totally honest review on a (potentially) great game. Thanks. ps. Most people don't really want to be bribed/forced to write fake reviews. Guess I'll be looking for a game that has a fair rating system. ### 3/5 — Needs Work *2017-05-14, version 1.4* I would love to give a 5 star rating as I enjoy the quick games, but there are problems. Many of the words have only the most tenuous relationship to the category they are in. Also the app says all levels will unlock with 100 stars. It now says you need 100 stars, but you only have 120 or something similar to that. Clearly the developers don't excel in math. Would also be nice to be able to turn off the timing for a relaxed game. ### 4/5 — 👌 *2020-12-11, version 1.7* This is a great game! I really love it! ❤️❤️❤️ I've been searching for a word search game for ages, and I finally found it! The reason I gave it four stars instead of five is because in order to unlock all of the categories, you have to earn 100 stars. I find that really annoying because the highest amount of stars I got in a level was 3. At this rate, it will take me at least a month or so. I was looking for a game that would be good for travel and didn't require wifi and it was the only one that seemed fun.🙌🏻🙌🏻 although as I started playing it has a few issues. One it has a little too. Ice adds in my opinion, I get you must advertise but I would show less. And last I would give us some more chances on hangman I don't have enough time to figure out the puzzle before it is to Late. It would be more fun if the words crossed each other. By that I mean that so far it seems that each letter can only be used in one word, not shared,say by a vertical word and then the same letter used in a diagonal word. I like some where I finish as fast as I can, but others I’d like to take my time, have more words to search rather than just 9 or 10. Be nice to have the option to turn the timer off, and have more words in one game. Overall good. I’m glad to have found this electronic word search, it’s so boring to draw lines with a pencil on paper. The colors keep things interesting.
