But I have found that if you restart those puzzles, you can get a solvable version. It may take more than one restart. I believe it still needs fixing, or at least including that bug in the instructions. ### 4/5 — Fab game w/ lagniappe *2025-12-23* It was absolutely great to have found a word search that I can play casually by turning the timer off. The bonus for me was having the ability to change the font size and/or color. The sheer number of them is staggering and it’s refreshing to see the developer stays on top of the app. The ability to create our own cross words was lagniappe, also. I’m not sure if there’s a method to save the creation but it is fun. The only minus is that the games freeze as I’ve had to play a few games several times to have them show as complete. Have fun! ### 4/5 — Fun with the occasional bug *2025-06-19* I play this game often and enjoy it. Sometimes there’s a space in the grid and there’s no way to complete that particular game. I just skip that one and go on to the next. And sometimes a search word is too long to be displayed. You can figure out what the word is supposed to be (as long as it’s spelled correctly) but in a game based on pattern matching, not being able to see the full pattern is a disadvantage. Other than that, I really like this app and appreciate the customizable interface! **Developer response:** Hi there. Thank you for your nice rating and constructive feedback! A "kness" bug was just fixed (we can upgrade the words without a need to update the app). About highlighting words in both directions - we might add this as an option in settings menu in some future update, thank you for suggestion! Yes the game is timed, but you can also turn off a timer. Please visit settings from the main menu screen to turn on/off a relax mode that has no time limit. Adding the ability to select the word in any direction is well appreciated. One suggestion I would make is to add an option to lock or disable the bottom menu items. Did the gym board, got all the words and clock keeps counting down. You can only swipe words forwards (you can't start at the end of a word and swipe backwards), it sometimes takes 2-4 times to get it to recognize I have the right letters, and becomes overall boring after a few rounds. There is not a huge number of them, but just enough to make it frustrating for those of us who do not enjoy leaving un-finished games. With newer iPads that don’t have a home button, to get out of the app one must slide your finger up from the bottom of the screen. This instantly changes background, size, color, etc. which is annoying after getting everything set the way you want it to appear.
