They help me unwind at the end of a busy day. I love them. I’m loving these puzzles more every time I use them. I have this same puzzle on my iPad and I usually do them there, but it’s charging and I just couldn’t wait to play, so here I am on my iPhone. I appreciate the fact that Word Search does not repeat the same words over and over, but uses lots of words to which I might not otherwise be exposed. I’m really getting disappointed with the word searches! It used to take me to the list of puzzles, and I choose the one I want, but now it goes directly to a puzzle and I end up abandoning it!!! Also, the screen blackens on last word, and it goes back to a new puzzle!!! AND, the sounds arent the same as they were when I get a word!! And the timer say 00 when should display a time ! Okay, so found out that not all of the searches are messing up! This happens after I complete a difficult puzzle. When I get time lowered it does not give me the credit and a additional star, however the time changes to that new lower time. I really enjoy this word search, however if these problems continue without a explanation, I’ll have to remove this game. These problems are so frustrating! ### 2/5 — I was liking it until... *2017-04-11, version 1.4* It was pretty fun...until reaching the last puzzle (Nations) of the "Human" category. I keep having to do it over because once I circle the last word, the whole app quits on me. It doesn't matter what order I find the words. Once I circle the last one, it's gone. Thankfully I'm able to move on to the next puzzle. Another thing: The spelling. Um...pumkin? Porridg? There were others. Come on! At least spell the words correctly! ### 2/5 — Meh *2016-11-07, version 1.4* I like crosswords, it this app isn't bad, but it's also not stellar. I don't like having a timer or getting a rating, but I can get over that. Mostly it's that there's a glitch that won't let me finish one of the searches because every time I find the last word, the game crashes and doesn't acknowledge that I finished it. There's also nowhere to report that problem without twitter, which I don't use. UPDATE: After playing more, I realized how many of the puzzles found lower on the list repeated words used in previous puzzles and, more importantly, the puzzles had no cohesive theme. The puzzle labeled "Kids One" has words like quake, deer, around, parakeet, and desert (which is the big, dry, sandy place, not the tasty thing after dinner). Really random, nonsensical, and kind of annoying. ### 3/5 — Addicting, but.... *2018-08-22, version 1.4* This game is addicting if you love word finds. The only problem I have with it is that once you get to “Nations” and you find the last word, it kicks you off and doesn’t save your score. I thought it was because you had to get 5 stars on all of them so I went back and got 5 stars on all of the puzzles, no joke. I got to “Nations”, so excited....and the same thing happens again. You can imagine my disappointment. 😒 If they were to fix this, I will definitely change my rating to 5. Until then, they’re stuck with 3. ### 3/5 — It's a pretty good app but.... *2017-09-12, version 1.4* So far I like the word searches themselves and that there are only 8 words per search, it makes it more relaxing and less tedious/stressful. Also some of the words for the themes don't make much sense to me but that's not a huge deal. What I dislike is the timer, the fact that it can't be paused, and the stars. None of it makes any sense and there is nothing in the menu explaining how it is supposed to work either. I also think the timer should be optional, or taken out all together because there is no explanation on how it works as I said and it's kind of a nuisance if you don't know how to use it. ### 3/5 — Entertaining *2016-07-25, version 1.4* When you got a lot of time to kill in your day, playing this game will make it easier for you to spend your time on a productive way. The print is a decent size and the word searches are the perfect level of difficulty. However, sometimes I think that the game gets confused. For example, when I was playing the Diseases puzzle, it said that a migraine was a disease. Also, when I was playing the Women in Bible puzzle, one of the words was kind of inappropriate. Other than that it's great. I like that you can replay games. The developer(s) made it a really comfortable game. It runs off wifi and the categories for the different word searches are seemingly endless. This game is formatted in a very easy and simple manner. So regardless of what device your using, it’ll be easy for you to use without any phone problems. For example, your phone over-heating. It won’t cause your phone to over heat like most games do. So overall this game is a 10/10 to me. The developer should make more games using this style. The pattern to find the words can sometimes be predictable but I noticed it does change which is good. I like that their are categories so I can pick and choose what I want to go after, verses just being handed out words. Although, a nice feature might be shuffle to mix it up. For example, being able to select movies, world, etc to shuffle together. Growing up, I can remember my Mom always having several books all over the house. During family gathering my brothers and sisters still have races to see who can complete a word search the quickest. Now we have this App and several of us can do the same word search on each of our iPads or phones at the same time! It’s great! Two tiny issues. 1. When ever I complete the Nature category, it kicks me out of the App. 2. Very few times, but at times I select the word and it doesn’t mark it and I have to do it again. Which takes just a bit more of my count down...maybe a second but if you’re not competing against someone else, it’s ok.
