One of the better Word search apps. *2024-01-17* The achievements and time goals are nice, as well as the variety of themes. I feel it could be a lot harder, meaning if the search would get bigger as you level up. That would be cooler. Right now, I’m on level 61 & I’m still looking for four or five letter words. Easy to tap and I like the back and forth direction to select the words. However, I have noticed that there is an overlap with the words at the bottom bar. This makes it difficult to read some of the words and that can increase your time. Would also suggest trying other colors or allowing the user to pick a color. Not much but could liven the game up. ### 4/5 — Not Enough! *2021-01-14, version 2.6* I like this game but I'm only able to play 2 puzzles a day (after completing the 500 small puzzles). You’re allotted 25 (I think) tokens and each puzzle costs a certain amount. The cost starts out around 5 tokens and increases with each puzzle. Currently, it costs me 10-12 tokens per puzzle with only a few left at that price. Tokens take forever to build back up and the coins you receive for completed puzzles are worthless. This app is at least worth the download for the small 500 word searches. ### 5/5 — Endless, but not mindless, fun *2020-12-30, version 2.6* I’ve found it very rare to find a game that strikes the perfect balance between being fun and being mentally stimulating. Of course this isn’t going to, nor is designed to, push your intellect to its absolute limits and help you become a MENSA-worthy genius. But it’s certainly not mind-numbing, either. I play this quite often when I am bored or have some time to kill. And 99% of the time I play in Classic Mode. I just prefer having a ton of categories to choose from, and not being distracted by a bunch of rules or timers. And I admit I also was annoyed by the ad frequency. But I think their ad-removal cost is fair, especially in a day and age where some app makers fleece the heck out of you. Overall, this is a cool game that will keep you busy for hours on end (minimal battery life impact). It’s funny how it is repetitive but it never actually feels repetitive. I definitely recommend it. And I recommend the nominal fee to remove ads. Really improved my experience with it. ### 5/5 — Fun *2020-12-30* Spent hours playing this, almost at level 500 can’t seem to put it down. Only complaint really is that you are limited to getting tokens by watching videos bu the day. I wish they could change this because when you get really stuck the only option is to buy tokens and it’s rather expensive. But other than that I really enjoyed it and unlike some word-searches this is more of a challenge because they don’t tell you which words to search for. If they give you the words it’s usually a doddle as you just have to find the first letter and there you go. Some people may prefer that but the fact that it gives you just a general hint of what types of words to find makes this game more enjoyable for me. ### 5/5 — Tokens *2020-12-24* Need more tokens or make it easier to get some. There are times, however, when I feel a bit off searching for words that I don’t know or can’t fit into my head as belonging to the category. The selection of topics are about as plain and uninteresting as you can get. The “rewards’ for achievements are non-existant and the cursor is unforgiving and often an encumbrance when trying to play for speed. It does pass a little time though. My money has much better places to go then to silly games ### 2/5 — Honestly, not worth it. *2020-05-26, version 2.6* I like the concept of a giant word search and it seems fun, but I found it to be quite laggy and annoying with the ads. I mean what sense is it to advertise a different word search app in an word search app? Like that makes no sense to me. It just seems like it needs to be updated or something. I genuinely don’t understand why it has such good reviews right now. ### 2/5 — Patience Required *2017-05-04, version 2.3* The only way to unlock all the puzzles is with the daily login bonuses, there are hidden tokens on the board but you're likely going to need the daily bonuses as the natural token growth stops at 10 with at least 50% of the board costing 10+ tokens. Most of the rewards you get for completing the puzzles are coins. I've never used my coins, in my opinion they're totally useless. I have no idea why they even give you an option to buy more of them. Also even though every stage has a time to beat there's no noticeable bonus for actually beating that time except for a bigger start marking that game's finish. It's a pretty basic word find, nothing exciting and totally engineered to force you into buying tokens in hopes you'll be too impatient to wait but without anything to offer that actually makes waiting for the daily bonus token a problem. ### 2/5 — Great game but ads block game play *2017-01-25* This is a great game. I noticed this when I first played 5 years ago but just redownloaded it and the same thing still occurs! It keeps saying coming soon coming soon. Well don’t think it will ever show up. Also in the part where you have the biggest word search ever and you are timed, well when you have 25 words to find it is difficult to find them in under 2 min. It’s been years since I’ve played it, and I love that it hasn’t changed in any bad way. There are less pop-up ads (which I really, really appreciate) and the game is just enjoyable, overall. There’s nothing I could think of that would make it better. I was bothered by the tokens system, but now I’ve adapted to it.
