I’m not a dummy (I have two college degrees, for Pete’s sake!), so I resent having to buy several clues to solve a word! ### 2/5 — Love the game, but… *2024-04-10, version 14.1.3* I love this word game. Most have way too many bonus words, but this has the fewest I’ve seen so far, so most of the words you get are actually counted. The music is nice and relaxing, so it’s a nice game to play before going to sleep. So why only two stars? Because the hints cost 100 coins for one hint. You can purchase more, for example, $2.99 for 800 coins. Sounds like a lot of coins, right? But it’s only 8 hints. That’s just a bit unreasonable. The “but”, between each game you have to listen/watch 30-55 seconds of commercials, sometimes games which are loud, investment ideas and other junk. There is no way to disable the sound other than turn off the phone sounds completely. I never received a response. I contacted them again telling them the connecting line color is very difficult to see on the background color. I was an English teacher at one point in my life and haven’t heard of a great portion of the words they slam you with. The word I had today was “rani”. It’s an Indian word. Why are we not using English? It’s Hindi meaning the wife of a rajah. How the hell would an English speaking person know that? However, my screen goes black after completing a level. So I have to close the game and reopen if I want to play the next puzzle. And clicking the link for “App Support” sends me to a website that asks me to “try Desk.com free for 14 days”. REALLY? I have to sign up for a service just to get assistance? And if I have problems after the 14 day trial period, I will have to PAY for support? Ridiculous. ### 1/5 — Frustrated with unacknowledged words *2019-10-09, version 12.15* Every single time I play this game, I encounter a word or two that the game doesn’t know of. I’m not talking obscure Scrabble words—just regular words. It’s also annoying to have so many valid words not appear on the board, but at least there’s a paltry reward for those. App needs a way to send word feedback. How does the game not know L-A-I-N? As in “She had lain in bed all weekend.” Hopefully not playing this game. ### 1/5 — Political B.S. *2019-05-25, version 12.15* Can’t believe I had to look at an ad to “Support Trump building the WALL! Sign the petition!” Are you kidding me?? I immediately deleted the app, and I will never recommend it to anyone else. Not cool at all...I’m here to play games, not support political agendas. I was astounded at how many levels it has: 3000 individual puzzles. For $1.99 you can disable ads which has got to be one of the best values in the puzzle game genre.
