However, if it crashes, I close it, or I even pause it to change a setting, it always makes me start the current game over. If you don’t want to expect it to save games, you might as well not sign in use any platforms; it does the same thing anyhow. **Developer response:** Please sign in under "Save" on the title screen of the game. Been playing for years and losing the will to continue. **Developer response:** Sorry for the frustration with that mid-game freeze! We're investigating memory stability issues to prevent the screen from locking up. ### 3/5 — Okay *2021-03-17* I thought this game looked like the old bookworm game. And it is to some extent. What I really don’t like is that I can’t just play myself. Every score is my “best score” even though it isn’t. I have no interest in other people’s scores or in competing against them. Seeing just my one score sort of ruins the fun. Am I improving? I have no idea. Making the words and helping the cute worm is engaging I don’t see it being a long term game. **Developer response:** Appreciate the feedback! You can view your personal best star counts and level stats directly on the level select map to track your improvement. ### 4/5 — Lockdown challenges *2020-04-21* I’ve used Word Wow on and off for years but have used it daily since lockdown as not only addictive to beat last score and get as far as possible, it helps my brain focus on one thing rather than all the other challenges in this present lockdown during Coronavirus pandemic. ### 3/5 — Great game, but... *2019-10-06* the game needs more challenges and the bombs on the bottom right needs to be moved elsewhere. I deleted this paid app from my devices when I started a game and noticed the name of my town and state prominently displayed, in proper order, on the tiles. Until then, I found the game addictive. Wish it would stop crashing. *2021-07-28, version 2.3.0* I’ve been using this game for a long time. Suddenly, over the past two days, it refuses to open once it’s past midnight. Super weird. I’ve rebooted my wifi and my phone, and it still only works during the day and in the evening. I know how ridiculous this sounds, and I would think so too if this wasn’t happening on multiple occasions when everything about my internet and other apps all work fine. Fun, challenging and addictive.
