Every time I play one game, the game freezes and will not let me play again. No matter what I do I have to wait at least 10 minutes before being able to play again. This is extremely frustrating. Once playing the game, Wordathon is fun. Lost a star because it uses a lot of American English words which are not part of UK or other classic English dictionaries... There should be an option to select the language to English UK similar to thanh of the PC software... Also, if you are not extremely precise in swiping across tiles, you end up selecting the wrong tile... I have stopped using this app… Never seen anything so bad! ### 1/5 — App not connecting to Facebook *2021-04-29, version 3.2* So I haven't played in a month and the stupid app locked me out of my account. I REFUSE to start over. What's going on? Error message - Facebook.com - App not setup. This app is still in development mode and you don't have access to it Switch to a registered test user or ask an app admin for permission. I suspect it's Facebook fault because they're idiots and I hope it can get fixed or else I'm just gonna delete the app then. ### 1/5 — Obnoxious Ads *2016-03-15* Great game ruined in latest version with horrible ads. After aggravating you for a while, it offers to sell you an option to remove the ads, but doesn't specify the price before asking for your app store password -- what's up with that? ### 1/5 — Nice game, terrible app *2016-03-05, version 1.5* I really like playing the game. Need to get rid of this. ### 2/5 — More issues after the last update *2017-10-26* After the last updates new issues have surfaced. You can’t double your bonus chips anymore and can’t get additional chips by sharing on FB. There’s always a msg about having reached the limit. Really frustrating and disappointing. ### 2/5 — Fun but Buggy-Update *2017-09-03* This is a fun game but still has a lot of bugs even after the most recent update (July 2017). Words starting with "Q" are not accepted as valid. Very frustrating. I thought this would have been addressed with the update but apparently not. Any game that has a "Q" in it I end immediately. More troublesome, it's difficult to accumulate chips to buy power-ups/extend time so you are forced to purchase extra chips. I purchased 1000 chips for $4.99, only to have 700 chips wiped out when I played two game extensions (should have used only 80 chips). It doesn't seem to matter if I use power-ups or time extensions...chips are not deducted properly. Very annoying. Update- Still having problems with excessive chip deductions for extending time. I just purchased 1000 chips for $4.99. All chips were exhausted after only three 3-min time extensions (should have deducted only 240 chips). Please fix!!!! ### 2/5 — Poor *2016-05-16* The program has stopped working for some mystery reason. It was a great idea. Apart from the constant sales push, that is. Even after purchasing the option to remove ads. Now it ignores any letters typed while continuing to count down. I suspect a server side issue. Nonetheless, this implementation, presumably after an update of some time, is poor and now useless to us. It's too bad as it was a fun game. I'm just glad we didn't lose (or as they have it spelt in one of their dialog," loose") more money on it. Avoid it. ### 2/5 — The app freezes on me *2014-11-04, version 1.2* I like playing, but after a couple of rounds it freezes up and locks the screen. I have to reload the app to play again. ### 2/5 — poor *2014-11-03* This game was terrific until they made the new update. Ow it only works one time! Then you have to delete the app & then reinstall every time. It doesn't let you get points or keep track of any of your games. I loved this game.
