I was supposed to get 75 coins, but instead, nope, this app give me 50! Then it’s REALLY glitchy. And with TOO many adds. I highly recommend people to get it- only if they love glitches and ads and wrong prizes, and things like that. And for people who don’t like it… well, you’re better off without this app! Recently they’ve b come almost unplayable because of a long period where the game freezes. This usually happens right after the spin for a gift. Sometimes it doesn’t freeze until The puzzle loads. That problem is that in the daily puzzle after you guess about two to three words, the game automatically closes and your back on your home screen. And after you repeat the same process again, it will do the same thing again, over and over again. And when this doesn’t happen, then the game just fills in every answer but one for the daily puzzle. Also the prices for all the hints is a lot. You have to pay 95 coins for one hint while you only get 49 coins for each daily puzzle you complete. Unless the creators of this great game fixes these things, I will most likely stop playing this game. Word Crimes *2018-04-17, version 1.1.0* Been playing this game for a long time and enjoyed it. This is a good app and a good word game and it doesn't go crazy with ads. Sadly, they've ruined it with the latest update. They tell you that this update increases coin rewards, which is a lie. Instead, they've increased the cost of 1 hint from 19 coins to 95 coins -- that's right, NINETY-FIVE COINS, 5 times the previous amount. Rewards for watching a video are reduced too. A really nice game ruined by the greed of its authors. So sad. ### 1/5 — Word Blobs *2018-02-12, version 1.0.9* Do not like that many words are not accepted. Same in Word Whizzle now. Both frustrating when you have several words but none are accepted. ### 1/5 — Fun but lacking... *2017-09-17* The only reason for giving this game a 'four-star rating' is that, in some puzzles, more words can be found, yet they are not included in the options. If the object is to find words, then any and all possible words should be accepted. Example: The puzzle gives the letters "N, I, and T" but accepts only 'Nit, It and In.' The word 'Tin' is not accepted. Huh???! Makes no sense... PS: I will be deleting because as I progress through the levels, more ads appear; there are ads between EVERY level. There are many words that can be made but unless your words conform to the preselected words that are programmed it gets a bit frustrating. The beginning levels are pretty easy, but as you go up in levels and there are more choices for words to be made and perfectly acceptable words are not allowed to be answers. Deleting game. ### 1/5 — STRANGER DANGER!!! *2017-07-01* On level 218, I am used to the ads that pop up every 4 to 5 levels. However, as I closed this last ad the screen went purple (more on that in a moment) and proceeded to open my iOS mail app. ?!?!?!!!!! Explain. Why is Word Blobs or it's advertisers opening my mail app? I'm not getting into your van no matter how much candy you may have. The momentary purple splash screen that happens when opening the game is what I am referring to. Since about level 170, maybe every third ad, when I close the ad, the purple splash screen for the game will freeze and lock the game app. I have to double tap Home, swipe Word Blobs out of the back ground and then reopen the game app. As well, what is the point of having an off setting for the game if it is just going to play sounds every 10 - 15 ads. I am not writing the review for coins. I was so sad to see it end and keep hoping for new levels but ALAS! I still do the daily challenges, hoping some day we will get new levels. This game is great. Beginning easy and progressing to longer words.
