About
Make dictation preparation a little calmer.
Liltleaf - Wordbud helps children listen, write and try again. Less preparation for parents. No account required.
YOUR MATERIALS, YOUR PRACTICE
Add photos, PDF, Word (DOCX), PowerPoint (PPTX) or public HTTPS links. Check the extracted text, title, author and language, then practice a passage, sentences or words. Review and edit OCR and AI suggestions before saving.
LISTEN, REMEMBER, WRITE
All four combinations are free: words or passages, with spoken dictation or recall from memory. Read and listen first, then hide the answers and try writing. Use Cantonese, Mandarin or English system voices; adjust speed, pauses and spoken punctuation. Reading can continue with the screen locked or another app open. Answer on paper or with the keyboard.
BUILD YOUR WORD LIST
Select words from your text, or use AI on supported devices to suggest vocabulary based on the learner's grade and practice history. Check the selection, then save it. Practice Chinese handwriting and English spelling. AI offers suggestions, not an assessment of ability. Traditional character information uses Taiwan references. Free writing is available when a character has no animation.
CHOOSE YOUR PLAN
Free
• One learner; keep 2 pending tasks at a time in My study calendar.
• Basic imports, saved materials, reading aloud, all four dictation modes, answer review, practice history and manual retries.
• Manual export and restore of valid V2 backups. No daily limit on basic practice.
• Free Quick AI on compatible devices with iOS 26 or later and Apple Intelligence enabled and ready.
Plus — monthly or yearly
• Everything in Free, for one active learner.
• Advanced on-device AI and Custom API Key mode.
• Multiple study plans, batch import, weak-item review planning and advanced learning reports.
• Personal iCloud backup snapshots, subject to available iCloud space. Not live device sync.
Family — monthly or yearly
• Everything in Plus.
• Multiple learners on one device, with separate materials and learning records.
• Apple Family Sharing for eligible accounts. Sharing the subscription does not automatically share materials or a child's progress.
Plus and Family are optional subscriptions, available when offered by the store. Free features do not require a subscription. Local prices and currency are shown in Apple's purchase sheet.
TRIALS, RENEWAL AND AI REQUIREMENTS
• Eligible new subscribers can receive a 14-day free trial. Apple determines eligibility within the subscription group. After the trial, subscriptions renew at the monthly or yearly price shown at purchase. Manage or cancel in your Apple account's subscription settings. Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial or current period ends to avoid the next charge.
• Advanced AI is included in the app with no separate model download. It requires at least 8 GB RAM and sufficient available memory; not every iPhone or iPad supports it.
• Custom API needs your own endpoint and key. With your consent, relevant text and learning summaries go to your chosen provider. Provider fees are separate from Liltleaf - Wordbud subscriptions.
• Basic practice works offline once materials and system voices are ready. Purchases, Custom API, link import and iCloud backup require internet.
Use materials you have the right to use. Convert legacy DOC/PPT to DOCX/PPTX or PDF. Restoring purchases restores access, not learning data; restore data from a valid backup. Deleting the app does not cancel subscriptions.
V1 UPGRADE: V2 uses a new local data system. V1 accounts, materials, progress, entitlements and backups do not migrate automatically. Save your old data before updating, then reimport passages into V2.
