This app teaches students how to quickly break down complex words to their most basic ideas. The game help students memorize and master words and progresses in interesting ways. It offers a healthy dose of competition for an individual player, and also allows players to challenge other friends. It can be hard to put it down as it feels so gratifying to have mastered a word. It's visually pleasing and intuitive to use. It never occurred to me that "cephalopod" meant an animal with feet connected to its head! And there are beautiful illustrations for us visual learners. Looking forward to what new features they roll out in future updates. ### 5/5 — Great app! *2017-09-14* I love this app! I'm a teacher so I played it myself and recommended it to my students. Unfortunately, it's only available on iPhones. I wish my students with androids could use it too. It's a great way to practice prefixes.
