Traditional scrabble is not one of the games in the app, but it doesn’t take time to make. This app has a lot to be liked. First, there is no interrupting ad, just a short one between games and the banner at the bottom that can easily be ignored. Second, the game play is fun and the six AI levels are well designed with nice difficulty progression. I now normally play at the excellent level and win about 70% of the games. When I am up for a challenge, I would try the expert level and win about one in four games. When I want to relax, I play at the good level where I win most of the games, but AI still keeps me on my toes most of the time. The games are fun and challenging. I sometimes can’t stop playing for hours. I also like it that AI does not use obscure words. Third, the app shows the definition of words that were made during the game. When I make a legit word that is new to me, I would look at its definition. It is nice that you don’t need to interrupt the game or do anything extra, the definitions are just there when you want to see them. I learnt a lot of words in the past few months playing this app, especially three- and four-letter words like obi, ulu. I use the review feature of the app to see what I missed in the games. That plus my increased vocabulary improved my game from the average level to the excellent level in the past several months - the app is good for improving word skill. Fourth, we had a lot of fun pass and play in the family. This app is definitely the best for pass and play - no other app can do pass and play for four people. It will replay the same word in the same spot and collect points. **Developer response:** Thank you for using our app. It sounds like you're referring to a situation where you exited a game and then resumed the game, and the last word appears to be "played" again in the same spot. This happens because the app animates the last word played when resuming a game—but it's just an animation, and no points are awarded. Note that the last move in an interrupted game is always made by the AI, since the AI does not take time to think and does not pause the game. If you believe something different occurred, feel free to reach out to us at contact@mnemosynch.com so we can look into it further. Rest assured, the AI in our app does not cheat—it draws tiles the same way you do, does not look at your tiles, and certainly does not replay the same word in the same spot to gain points. ### 3/5 — Annoying Bug *2023-12-26* There is an annoying bug regarding the adverts. When you click the “skip video” button, you can’t then close the advert and have to crash out of the game. This happens frequently when you have just finished a game and want to see the board. Once this is fixed it’ll be a fab game. Willing to pay to get rid of adverts but please give us an option to do that! **Developer response:** Dear JustLikeJack9, Thank you for the feedback. We have now published a pro version of the app that is ads free, does not collect any user data, and works completely offline. We have also updated the free app to have the 'Remove Ads' option (under 'Instruction & Info'), which basically takes the user to the pro version in the app store.
