### 4/5 — As a teenager, I love this!

*2025-05-03, version 2.7.0*

Thank you so much for providing a Scripture-based way to do my quiet time! I’ve been in the BSF school program since I was very young, and it has blessed me with a solid understanding of scripture. WordGo does the same.

I have one critique: when I downloaded WordGo a few years ago, there was “age verification” that required me to say I was 18! I feel uncomfortable sharing this with friends because I don’t like asking people to put down a false birthday. God’s word is for people of all ages. I know this is small, and teen users can easily get around it, but all the same, I think WordGo should look into this. Of course, if any updates since I got this app have taken care of this, that’s great!

Overall, WordGo is a wonderful way to learn God’s word, and I thoroughly enjoy using it.

### 3/5 — Groups

*2025-04-17, version 2.7.0*

The app does not let the group save, and move to next steps. Frustrating. Sad.

### 2/5 — Can’t get invites updated

*2025-02-16, version 2.7.0*

I started my app and was trying to set up invites. I got a name in, no email and it accepted that and now I can’t add the rest or even find “where” to edit and add the others.
 😭😩

### 4/5 — super amazing

*2025-02-14, version 2.7.0*

love this app but could you make it fit the ipad screen too?

### 3/5 — Great App but Issues with Groups

*2024-12-24, version 2.7.0*

I love the app in so many ways: it’s simple, practical, great format, and beautiful graphic design.

My biggest complaint is with trying to add people to the group I created. It added two people but when I tried to add more, it keeps saying, “Invite Error. An error occurred. Please try again later.” I tried to add people both from my contacts and manually and the same error occurred. I can’t add more group members and it’s very frustrating! Please help.

### 3/5 — Nice to have

*2024-08-09, version 2.5.0*

I’m leading a group of high school grads and it’s nice to have an app to use with them and have the study easily accessible. Sometimes the questions seem a little superficial and feelings based, which I’m not accustomed to with BSF and it’s cumbersome to need to invite each user via email. It would be more streamlined if I could simply share the app via text and each person could accept the invitation that way. I personally hated inputting each persons email, and they hated needing to tell me their email, wait for me to type it in, send the invitation, then wait for them to get into their email, click through and download the app… etc. It could be simpler. Regardless, we are using it and hopefully it won’t be as challenging to create another group when this one is completed

### 3/5 — Desperately needs iPad version

*2024-08-06, version 2.5.0*

I like the format and lessons, but the app restrictions bring in way too much frustration and serves to distract from deeply meditating on the Word. Ideally the lessons would be accessible from the website too, but short of that, at least an iPad app to give the text and questions more room to breath.

### 4/5 — Works well but a little shallow

*2024-06-21, version 2.5.0*

This app works well and I think it’d be good for some people. But I think it’s best for discussion groups, which it’s probably geared towards, over something for personal study. For personal study I think it’s a bit shallow and doesn’t really offer additional insights about the scriptures.

### 2/5 — Hard to navigate

*2024-06-14, version 2.5.0*

This is a bad app for those who are less tech savvy. It is not intuitive and it is difficult to view lessons that you have finished and want to review. I wish there was a desktop option for Word Go also. Please make it easier to use.

### 3/5 — Great content!, but…

*2024-05-24, version 2.5.0*

It asks me the user and password every time I restarts the app in the morning. I am going through the pain of remembering my secure password, which is quite long and complex. But enjoying the quality of the content! Thanks.

### 4/5 — Awesome, but could be better

*2024-05-23, version 2.5.0*

I really am enjoying this app. It’s great for those of us who are usually in BSF groups to use over breaks, but also really accessible to share with others who are not in BSF. My main gripe, and something I think could be easily remedied, is that the weekly teaching needs to work like the audio notes. The audio for the weekly teaching has the entire week strung together in a single recording. There’s no way to keep your progress and hold your place for the next day’s teaching, because every time you come back to it the recording starts again from the beginning of Day1 for the week. The audio notes are laid out correctly IMHO, with just that day’s clip embedded in the study for that day. And also, a side note, I really enjoy this format of a little teaching, a little reading and questions, and a little commentary distributed over each day. It’s so much more digestible and comprehensible. I sort of hope this is the format BSF eventually morphs to, although I know traditions are slow to change.

### 2/5 — So Annoying

*2024-05-14, version 2.5.0*

The content is great—I use it very often.
The app is not great. It’s not native so it feels like a web page and the UI/UX is sort of clunky. I also cannot stand the fact that a study will advance to the next day even if I don’t mark a day off. So if I miss a day or two or several the plan will go on and eventually say “congratulations you finished this study” when in fact I might be a week or two behind. Every day I have to browse the previous weeks, find the week I’m actually on and then find the study I actually left off on. It’s infuriating. I reluctantly recommend this app to people.

### 3/5 — Let me print the lesson.

*2023-09-06, version 2.3.6*

I have done several study’s on app and think the content is great I love that. But give the option to print the questions I’ll still read the notes or make those printable too. And I would still listen to lecture but the idea of typing on my phone all the answers is obnoxious and many distractions come up and then I click away from the app. I get that if you do that it defeats the purpose of the app but I still think your target audience will use the app and the ones who don’t want to be glued to it will get to print it. Give the option to print and I’ll give 5 stars.

### 4/5 — Great for Daily Studies

*2023-09-05, version 2.3.6*

I really like this app. I’ve studied with my family that are in different states, so it’s been very good for our study. We have not been able to do it as a group on the app, because some could not navigate after I sent out the group message in email, it just would not work. So, we just complete it on the app as solo.
We have had great discussions after the week, and learning so much together. Opens up conversations for a lot of questions.
Other than the navigation of the app, I simply love it!

### 4/5 — Great app, room for improvement

*2023-08-31, version 2.3.6*

The app is awesome, the ui is exceptional, like the animations are smooth. The content and studies are good too. My only thing is that the ux side needs some improvement. I lead a group and the app is constantly logging me out, is not big deal for me I have a password manager. but other in my group the keep forgetting their password. Second is the switch between courses, that is something I noticed brings confusion. Keep the good work I know mobile development is not easy, been there. Thanks for this app!

### 5/5 — Great daily devotional

*2023-08-20, version 2.3.6*

Having read the Bible daily for 33 years, WordGo has become my go-to daily devotional. Interactive and mobile, this study tool allows me to connect with God and go deeper in His Word no matter where I am or what I am doing 🙌🏻✝️😃

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — App won’t update

*2025-04-28, version 2.7.0*

I can’t get the app to update and I really want the full app so I can use it over the summer! Help!

### 1/5 — Too buggy

*2024-06-12, version 2.5.0*

I wanted to like the app; I really did. I can only get two course offerings, even though I know there are many. And when I tried to start a course, the ‘personal notes’ tab blocked access to the daily work (scripture, questions, notes). The good people in IT tried to help, but we just couldn’t get past the bugs. Bummer.

### 1/5 — SO FRUSTRATING!

*2023-12-06, version 2.4.0*

Using this app was SOOOO FRUSTRATING!

For some unknown reason, it doesn’t show all the questions.
As I was working through I noticed the questions were skipping numbers.
It would jump two or three questions at a time.
t did the same thing to my study partner but not every day.
I updated it but that didn’t help.
I deleted then reloaded it - but that didn’t help either.
So, I just deleted it again…….this time for good!!!

### 1/5 — Continuous error!!!

*2023-11-08, version 2.4.0*

I was totally frustrated with this app! Kept giving me an error. I was not able to use the app.

### 1/5 — Great idea

*2022-11-17, version 2.2.24*

I love the idea of using this app to further challenge my church but I can’t seem to get it to work on my phone or iPad.

### 1/5 — Can’t get out of the Course Library!

*2021-05-08, version 1.8.0*

All I have access to is the Course Library; there is nowhere, no way, to get to another page.
I chose a Study, just to see what would happen — It took me back to Course Library.
I deleted the app, completed the email verification, reinstalled the App — it took me straight to Course Library.
From other Reviews, I see my experience with the App is not right!
Can’t Rate the App because I can’t use it; had to give it a 1 because it won’t let me write the Review without a rating.

### 1/5 — So Frustrating

*2020-09-05, version 1.4.0*

I am hoping that the developers and tech folks see this and fix the overwhelmingly frustrating bugs that plague this app. It has such great resources and content. But, it crashes after each successful use and has to be uninstalled and re-installed. I’m operating the latest iOS version on my iPhone 8 and have plenty of memory, so I do believe it’s the app and not my phone. Also, tech support is not that great and not so responsive. I’d say, sign up for a BSF online group until they get the kinks worked out. It’s not worth the frustration and disappointment.

### 1/5 — Customer service is horrible

*2020-08-03, version 1.3.0*

I couldn’t log due to invalid account even though I had just signed up... I tried all the tricks and FAQ tips... so I contacted customer service where they continued to respond to me with answers like ‘how can we help you?’ Even though I had put in the entire problem with screenshots in my initial email. Then they respond to your response again with.. ‘we will respond in 48 hours’ every time they ask you a simple question and they do not respond in 48 hours.

This went on like this for 13 days and I just gave up.

Good luck trying to accomplish anything through customer service is anything doesn’t work.

### 1/5 — Sorry to Report Big Bugs

*2020-07-30, version 1.3.0*

Sadly as we began our second study the app has taken a big dump. Can’t navigate the day, scriptures, questions anything.
Be very very cautious in trying this app. Sorry BSF we really want to have a great experience but it ain’t happening.
Now why do we have to email you when we have problems if our email address is associated with our comment / review so tightly that it brings up our previous review? There are massive issues here WordGo. Please provide support or reasons for the issues being catalogued. Sad that BSF is getting this reputation hit. You may need to investigate your developer partner. Now we can’t even see the questions so we can move our group to manual study .

### 1/5 — Can’t log on or do anything

*2020-04-26, version 1.2.0*

I tried setting up a group initially as I couldn’t remember if I had previously set up an account. When I tried, I was informed that my email is already was already registered.

With this, I went and tried logging in, resetting the password before, and the load circle on the login button just spun and then stopped, not progressing.

Reset my password again, deleted the account then re downloaded it, same thing. I would love to be able to get on and actually see the app, but for now this hasn’t been an enjoyable experience, and it seems like from other comments that I am not alone on this issue.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great Family Bible Study

*2025-05-01, version 2.7.0*

Starting using this app at Christmas 2024 and have been using it ever since. I hope they add more studies into the app as most of them are 2 week long to up to 6 weeks long. They are short, fun, educational, spiritual and easy for anyone to use.

### 5/5 — Blessing

*2024-12-06, version 2.7.0*

This is the first time I have used WordGo. It has been a blessing. I started with the Advent study, Born to dwell and what I have studied has encouraged me to understand God’s gift of Jesus better. The app is also very user friendly and engaging.

### 5/5 — Grateful for this app!

*2024-07-01, version 2.5.0*

Thank you so much for this app. I found myself slipping this summer after BSF ended. I didn’t realize how much BSF was keeping me grounded during the stresses of life. I have appreciated so much having the WordGo app. The content is excellent and offers practical instruction on applying God’s Word to my daily Christian walk. I also like being able to do the study at my own pace. I love the audio option for the notes. I am using the app alone, but I also can see how it would work well with a group. Thanks to this app, I am growing in my relationship with Jesus.

### 5/5 — Great bible study app

Great for daily study and easy to use!

### 5/5 — Excellent Bible Studty app

*2024-06-10, version 2.5.0*

This app continues in the excellence of Bible Study Fellowship in a simpler way, which for me is a great way to stay in the Bible during the summer months when BSF is taking a break! There is a short Bible reading and are only two or three daily questions which is perfect to keep me in the Word! I especially like the short lecture that wraps up the week of study.

### 5/5 — Best Bible study app

*2024-01-11, version 2.4.0*

I recently started this and found them on you tube advertising and I truly enjoy doing my courses every day - thank you for creating this

### 5/5 — The Best at Home Study!

*2023-12-29, version 2.4.0*

I am being sanctified more and more through these studies. The 3 fold approach-prayer, questions, and reading make studying an in depth process that really encourages and cultivates growth on an optimal level! Thx, BSF!

### 5/5 — Lamentations

*2023-09-19, version 2.3.6*

I love this study. It is the state of our affairs in the world today. But God is faithful through ot all. I am uplifted and was sorrowful before. Now I know God is always faithful
