Wordish is a word puzzle game with a quirky sense of fun. It’s a simple pleasure for filling quiet moments when you want an enjoyable, brain-teasing distraction. GAME OBJECTIVE Challenge yourself to create as many words as you can from seven letters. Play at your own pace—no pressure, no time limits. Some puzzles are long, some are short. A new puzzle comes along every day. Each word must have at least four letters and include the key letter. Use letters as many times as needed. Four-letter words earn one point; longer words score one point per letter. Find a pangram (a word using all letters) for double points. Ranks are based on a percentage of points scored. I really started liking it when I found the New Puzzle button. I only kept my New York Times subscription so that I could play Spelling Bee. ### 4/5 — Excellent word game - update *2025-07-08* This was a great game. However, the latest upgrade is a great disappointment. I preferred it when the found and unfound words were listed separately after completing each day’s game. Also, I’m disappointed that you removed the definitions. One of the benefits of the game was learning new words. Please reconsider returning those attributes. I even subscribed to the game to see if it would reappear after subbing and still no dice. When larger text sizes are selected, interface elements like text, buttons, and symbols scale up accordingly. Both correct and incorrect answers trigger playful feedback toasts in keeping with that tone. If a quirky sense of fun isn’t to your taste, you can turn the toasts off in Settings > Preferences. ### 5/5 — Excellent word game *2025-02-26* This is my new favorite word game! Not only does he provide the option to see the number of words left, but how many exist with the first two letters of each word, so you can be purposeful in thinking of solutions. Well done! ### 5/5 — Update detracts from a great game *2025-01-26* I loved this game! It’s great if you enjoy word puzzles or are hooked on NYT spelling bee. But the most recent update has led to some weird glitches. The puzzles from one day to the next are getting jumbled together…in fact a person gets bumped from a daily puzzle with no explanation. **Developer response:** Hi, I’m really sorry to hear about the glitches you’re having, can you please contact me (go to settings, about in the app for contact details); I need some more info to sort this bug out. Some puzzles are quite challenging, most are tough, a few easy(ish) - keeps it fresh. I love that I can look up words I didn’t find. The hints make all the difference.
