I want to play a friend. I signed up with Apple. Is there a way to play a friend who also signed up with Apple, not on Facebook? Please say YESSSS. **Developer response:** Yes it is! Just exchange Friend IDs! It’s completely cross platform! Also if you need to reach me just email david@wafflegames.org ### 3/5 — Has some flaws that Sabotage gameplay *2022-04-24* While I really enjoy the opportunity to extend my daily word games, the algorithm here has shown up with a problem for me twice: it would show me a letter in grey that was later needed to finalize the word. This really messed me up since it effectively sabotages you from getting the word correct. Really hoping they will fix this flaw soon! **Developer response:** If this is an issue with the double letters then I do have a fix I need to push to iOS! If you ever run into another issue please write down the word and email me for any reason at david@wafflegames.org ### 4/5 — Fun but needs dictionary improvements *2022-02-22* I like the challenges mode but twice I’ve had my run ended by words I feel like shouldn’t be in the game. The first was “James” a proper noun, and the second was “endif” which is a programming term. There’s also a slight memory leak in the challenges mode, after a few rounds the keyboard entry becomes very slow. This can be remedied by going back to the Home Screen and then continuing the challenge. **Developer response:** I removed all the proper nouns!!! So no more names or brands! Also I’ll look into the memory leak thanks for the heads up! I’ll make sure to garbage collect if Unity doesn’t handle it. ### 5/5 — Smooth and simple *2022-02-25* Love the take on wordle, it’s very well done and I’ve had no issues with it so far. Lots of cool features like the ability to grab and drop letters which awesome when you know where they belong to make it easier to keep guessing. The art style is gorgeous, it has a hand painted quality that completely stands out from the typical cell shaded art that's standard in mobile games. The aesthetic in general is very unique (look at the designs of all the different buttons). It's refreshing to see this amount of creativity and thought put into something, especially a mobile game of all things. I also like that you can type in your letters from the keyboard or drag them into place at-will, it's very streamlined. I've been looking for a word game that was easy on the eyes and didn't have obtrusive ads, and Wordlings is all that and then some. :) **Developer response:** Thanks for the super kind review! I’m so glad you like the game and the overall aesthetics of it! ### 5/5 — Simple, Yet Satisfying. *2022-02-22* I am really glad there’s someone out there that wanted to bring color/customization to a fun word game that is easy and you can compete with friends! Here’s the different aspects of this game that make it fun: One of my favorite parts about the game is the ability to compete with other people with the challenges. It gives 3 different modes to play on and you try to get as many words in a row as you can. The convenience of being able to drag-and-drop the letters, or using the keyboard to type is amazing! The keyboard seems to be based on my iPhone keyboard, which is awesome. The music is soothing and not overly repetitive. The ads pop up, but honestly with this type of game I don’t mind watching an ad for 5 seconds every once in a while. The customization gives it more of an aesthetic pleasure, rather than the boring corporation feel. Currency is easily obtainable! I was able to get an ultra theme just be simply playing the game. I can’t wait to see the many more customizations that come out to this fun and addicting game! ### 5/5 — So much Fun!! *2022-02-22* The game is starting to become addicting!
