However, it has not been updated in 5 years. Will it ever get another update? It has some trouble recognizing names sometimes, which is pretty annoying. It also will not correct your grammatical errors. If you don’t have a good handle on how grammar works, this is not for you. I would also like a few other features, like an ability to download and share word palettes with other users. Well done. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — No idea what this app actually does! 🤷‍♀️ *2024-06-30, version 1.9.4* I downloaded this app because it looked as though it could be very useful in helping me with my writing, as I compose different text projects. However, unfortunately, I have absolutely NO idea how to use this app, or what it can actually ‘do’, what it is capable of etc, because there are absolutely NO user instructions! The sample pallet does absolutely nothing, you can’t ‘open’ it, or view it. It allowed me to import some of my own text, which it then turned into a ‘custom pallet’, but I then couldn’t ‘open’ that pallet or ‘do’ anything with that pallet either! So it is totally useless sadly! It looks as though it may have been designed to do something interesting, but anyone’s guess is good for determining exactly ‘what’ that ‘something interesting’ is! A real shame, but I had to end up deleting it, because the app doesn’t actually ‘do’ anything! ### 1/5 — problems *2024-05-22, version 1.9.4* I get the message "The requested app extension could not be found" so I haven't been able to use it on MacOS Sonoma. ### 1/5 — It works great - until you lose everything! *2021-05-14, version 1.9.4* I tried this for a songwriting retreat. One week in I hit the delete button while trying to remove a line of text. A week’s worth of work is now gone with no apparent way to “undelete” or otherwise restore my file. This is a serious flaw and I cannot recommend this app for this reason. The value of using the app is completely outweighed by the risk of the loss of your workproduct. ### 1/5 — Completely useless *2021-04-23, version 1.9.4* Might as well use notepad instead of wasting your time with this app. All it does is show words for you to put in with no context.
