## What is WordPaws?

WordPaws turns a word list into something you can see, hear and play — with a pet that grows as you learn.

Every word has its own picture, a clear recorded voice, a kid-friendly meaning, an example sentence and where the word comes from. Tap Find more books, pick one and start right away — books work offline once downloaded.

A SHORT PLAN EACH DAY
• Today shows what to do: a few new words, the words that are due for review, and four short games
• Reviews come back just when you are about to forget (a memory schedule, not a fixed timetable)
• About 15 minutes a day; miss a few days and it welcomes you back gently instead of piling up

LEARN
• Learn cards: picture, sound, meaning, sentence, similar and opposite words, origin
• Spell each word on the card, by keyboard or by saying the letters out loud

PRACTICE
• Spelling with hint letters that fill in for you, then type the whole word once over the light letters
• Picture → word, Word → meaning, Match, Word search, Tricky part and Word families for spelling patterns
• Wrong words: every word you missed, from every book, in one place

YOUR PET
Choose a puppy or a kitten. It grows as you study — care for it a little every day.

FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY
• Several learners on one phone, each with their own level, books and progress
• Back up and restore a family; export a child's words
• Share a book with a group (a code from the group's leader). Names, answers and progress are never sent
• Photograph a teacher's word list and send it in; the pictures and sound are made for you
• No account, no ads, no tracking
