Please reinstall previous version *2018-11-27* Update: I have rerated! It works much better - sizing works, scrolling works, and responds well. I like it. Not worth the purchase. Convert your file to a PDF and use more powerful readers. This is what was lost: -ability to size font a keep the whole text in viewing window. -lost highlight colors in original PDF. If you stretch the page you have to scroll right and left. This is a pain if you are lecturing. WP needs to step up and provide a full editable app! I am a lifetime WP user. Please do something quick to move forward. ### 4/5 — Fulfills its Purpose *2014-01-10, version 4.0* This app fulfills a missing link. It enables me to open and view my WordPerfect documents on my iOS devices (iPhone4S and iPad2). Although you cannot edit the document on an iOS device, you can cut and paste. As such, it is a very very useful app. Thankful to the developer for creating it and easily worth $4.99! Note that the new version requires a clean install! So delete the old one and re-install otherwise it crashes. ### 3/5 — Need a font increaser *2013-01-15* Some of us blind (old) people use this app so we can read or files we have collected over the years. The set font it uses is way to small. The only fix is to open the file in WP and increase the font to 26 then save it, then I can read it. But that's not what I want to do to every file first. Can open basic files, but you have to load them into the app from iTunes. It doesn't integrate with any programs from which you might download a wpd file from. Can't open passworded files. Absolutely no support or help files, as if Corel won't acknowledge they have an app. Not worth $4.99. Not worth $0.99. I love WordPerfect, but if you need access to files, convert them for iPhone viewing. ### 2/5 — Viewing tables *2012-04-12, version 1.0* Not very useful for me. will not display tables properly. Can't shrink to see complete table in portrait or landscape viewing. Can't pan/scroll the width of the table. no header/footer displayed. Compared to other documents/apps, this one doesn't offer nothing at all. When you can't offer valuable products you need to spare others getting trash. I hope this developer will reimburse me. Before that when I encountered a WP doc I'd click on it and up would come a list of other apps on my iphone preceded by the notation: OPEN IN. The apps shown were those apps that have conversion capabilities such as File Converter, Good Reader, File App Pro, and the WP Viewer. Somehow the iPhone "knows" what selections may be useful. BUT...following the update i got a WP file, "Winmail.dat", and in trying to open this common WP file, the Viewer does not appear under the "Open In" menu. The WP viewer is no longer shown! So, until that gets fixed the Viewer is useless. ### 1/5 — Crap *2013-01-01, version 3* Wouldn't even recognize my wpd files to convert. I'd like a refund. I deserve a refund. iTunes should be ashamed to sell a product that does not work. I repurchased the other version and it did work. I want a refund for the earlier version. This means you cannot use the open with option in email , goodreader or print central as it says on its add. The tech support email option bounced back my email. I use it every day at work. When a problem occurred with the update for IOS 11.2, the app would not function. I contacted Word Perfect and they had the fix done in 24 hours. It works great now!! I've never met a judge who doesn't like his/her WordPerfect but with this app I can dump the laptop. ### 5/5 — Fantastic! *2013-06-02* Extremely useful app. Allows you view any WP document. Handy, since no document conversion is needed. The scroll button is its best feature, allowing you to move quickly thorugh long documents. The naysayers want this to be a complete word processor. But, as a viewer, it's great. I have not had any problems getting documents into the viewer, as reported by another user. I have used SkyDrive, also email, to get documents into the WP Viewer ### 5/5 — Wonderful! *2013-03-10* I have over 20 years of WordPerfect personal and business documents. All of them are stored on Dropbox. This is almost like an answer to prayers. Before I found this I was having to convert those documents one at a time on my pc so I could access them on my ios device. Now they are there immediately with only one click. I use Microsoft Sky Drive to put over 75,000 files on the cloud for ease of access. Over 3/4 are WordPerfect 5 to X6 files. I needed an app to be able to view the files from my IPhone. I click on a file inside SD then click on the icon at bottom right that says open in another app, click on WordPerfect viewer and it opens right up. I can even select text to copy into another document. Reviewers who have said it does not work are incorrect! My new most useful app!! ### 5/5 — Great app *2012-05-24, version 1.0* Works seamlessly with email WP attachments ### 5/5 — Gets the job done *2012-05-01* I have a lot of WordPerfect documents so being able to read them from my iPhone is a big plus. The app works fine for me on both my iPhone 4 and my iPad 2. I can even access wpd documents from within Dropbox. (Note: it will claim there is no app to display the file. Just touch the icon on that screen that has the little curved arrow--as if you were going to e-mail the file--and choose the wpd reader.) This wpd reader doesn't always format the files perfectly, but they are quite readable (even tables). For that matter, the iPhone often doesn't format complex Microsoft Office files perfectly, either. I'm not sure why some other users have reported such negative experiences with this app, as it gets the job done for me.
