The puzzles are simple enough that they allow you to still focus on the beautiful story being told. Yet they are complex enough to make you think. Took me about 10 mins and was completely worth it. ### 5/5 — BRAIN TICKLE HEAVEN *2023-02-26, version 2.0* This game made me viscerally excited. Luck have it that I am an Audubon card-carrying bird nerd so that added something extra special to this little journey. This has the best of all word puzzles for me- Word search for rebus puzzle style clues with a cute story to guide you along and of course, adorable birds and fun colors. This little game absolutely thrilled me and I wish there were more. The background music was very unsettling and distracting. It reminded me of what would play behind a scary story to make you feel just uneasy. The idea was great, but it was super short and the whole point? Nothing. It was a positive message disguised as a game. Really wish this was better. However, this feels like a game that had a really good idea but didn’t receive enough attention. If I wasn’t familiar with word puzzles like this i reckon i would’ve struggled to know how to start. the clue of the ‘ies’ cut in half had an unintuitive answer that i only got by trying combinations of letters. This game from any other developer would be five stars, but from someone as creative as bart bonte, it’s only fairly fun, as opposed to very fun. ### 3/5 — Very very short *2022-11-29, version 2.0* I like playing different games with things like these "dingbats" style games and used a hint twice. I was really hoping it would carry on but completed it probably in less than 10 mins. The game does only take 10 minutes to play through so just be aware that it’s a little experience and be happy with that. He definitely put a lot of thought into this app - the story is cute and has a good message, I love the music in the background and it’s fun to be solving the puzzles as the story is going..it’s interactive so you stay engaged. Really a great game! I wish more apps were made like this- it reminded me of when I could get something and KNOW it would work because things were quality - you can tell Bart Bonte put his time and effort into this app, resulting in quality.
