(Ex. When Foxy thinks of a word with more letters than I do. **Developer response:** Appreciate the feedback! You aren't losing points so much as it's a count of the tiles owned by you versus how many are owned by Foxy. When he makes a word it MIGHT capture some of the tiles that you had previously owned which puts his score up, and yours down by as many tiles as he captures. ### 3/5 — Not sure *2020-02-05* I’ve started playing Words with Foxy and although I quite like the game I find it a little annoying. Points on the counters, x3, x2, seem to count for nothing and Foxy’s points don’t show. I’d like the points to show when I’m making a word. The end of the game seems to be when no more words can be made rather than the amount of points accrued. AND when I use a shuffle or a rocket why is Foxy allowed to use my advantage when I have earned them and he hasn’t. Maybe I’ve got this all wrong but these are my initial thoughts. There was a game called Popword and that was the best game ever. He uses words that aren’t words, proper nouns, and words from other languages. But if I try such words, they are invalid. I hope this gets fixed as they add levels, but it’s still fun anyway. **Developer response:** Hi there. Both you and Foxy use the same dictionary so if it's a word that he's made then it's a word you can also make. As for proper nouns, they aren't permitted, but some words look like proper nouns yet have another meaning like "Boston" being a city and a card game. ### 5/5 — Great word puzzle! *2018-07-01* This app keeps me interested. Too many words are proper names/nouns and places and NOT really useable in other contexts... that I know of anyway—in the English language—and I have a pretty good vocabulary (grad degree and college professor). I love word games so I’ll keep looking but here is what I want— a word game exactly like the old Blackberry Word Mole. Boston for example is a card game. So it can be deceiving. For instance he used in my games Boston, Japan, Togo, Lenore. Seems cheating to me! Thanks for the fast answer. BTW those are all really bad games - I am totally addicted and am constantly thinking of good, long, special words. I have one question. In Words with Foxy what does it mean when the fox shows up or not over the end result? I am not sure, whether you want to know when Foxy is cheating. He just used “Lesbos”, which is a Greek island and nothing else as far as I know.😳 Why does Foxy win with 14 to 26 or something like it? Relates to my second question above! **Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback! I just checked and Boston and Japan are valid as they have other definitions (card game, glossy coating). However I couldn't find Togo or Lenore... I'll remove them from the dictionary. One last thing, if Foxy can use the word, so can you. Both are using the same dictionary. You can also just try to make the word and it'll turn green if it'll be accepted so you'll know before you make it. EDIT : When the Gold Foxy shows up at the end of the level it is because you managed to hold the GOLD tile until the end of the round. Do this on all the levels, and you win access to the 3 bonus levels in each world. We do want to hear about any whacky words that you feel Foxy should not be making. But, I don’t know how to progress from the Beach into the Lodge! I easily progressed from the Farm to the Beach, but can’t seem to move on now. **Developer response:** Hi there, You can progress to the next World by completing all the levels in the previous. The Gold coin and 3 stars are optional, but you must complete each level to progress to the next. Try returning to the Beach, and replay level 20. Once that's complete it should allow you to access the Lodge. Get and keep the gold tile... nope. Get more tiles than foxy... nope. There doesn't seem to be any consistency to when I win or foxy wins. I've read the " how to play" and no help there. That is my only complaint so far. **Developer response:** Hi Laura, Thanks for the feedback. At the start of each level, the sign that pops up gives you the objective. It's either WIN MORE TILES THAN FOXY, or it's WIN X TILES TO COMPLETE THE LEVEL. That's all that's required. The Gold tile is a bonus for each level, and the 3 stars is also optional. Gets to cheat and win.when letters are already used by both parties and. There are no moves he is able to form words thus keeping you from. Je suis championne de Scrabble. Je suis très forte en français et pourtant je perds systématiquement. J’ai essayé le niveau le plus bas et il n’y a aucune différence avec le hard. Aucun intérêt. Foxy's words are definitely not in any English dictionary anywhere. I'm packing it in, how can you compete with fake words? I tried to make some up, but not accepted. We rebuilt the game to address these bugs, and hope to have made the game much more playable. One particular bug: in playing level 1-8 it is supposed to be most tiles or whoever passes first my score was 24 to Foxy’s 10 and he had passed 3 times when there were no more moves I chose pass and Foxy won the round. It is definitely challenging, sometimes frustrating, but also rewarding and fun when you beat the fox! It's a good workout for my brain.
