## What is WordSage?

Guess today's word in 6 tries — then make it stick.

Most word games show you a new word and forget it by tomorrow. WordSage is built
around the moment that matters: after you solve today's puzzle, spaced-repetition
flashcards bring that word back right before you'd forget it. That's how
vocabulary actually gets built.

THE DAILY CHALLENGE
A fill-in-the-blank sentence, six attempts, and color feedback with a twist:
yellow doesn't mean right letters — it means you guessed a synonym. You're close
in meaning, not spelling. Win to grow your streak and earn Literacy Lifelines.

FLASHCARDS THAT REMEMBER FOR YOU
Over 1,000 words with definitions, example sentences, synonyms, common
collocations, and audio pronunciation. Swipe right if you know it, left to see
it again. Spaced repetition schedules every review so words move to long-term
memory — not to the pile of things you looked up once.

MORE WAYS TO PLAY
- Word Scramble: tap or swipe to connect letters, from quick 3-letter words to
  11+ letter monsters. Race the 2-minute Challenge Mode and chase the fever
  multiplier.
- Memory Match: flip cards to pair words with their synonyms. Clear the board,

Earn them by playing every mode. Spend them on hints when today's word has you

- Jump straight in: the how-to-play guide no longer blocks the screen on your
  first game. Read it while you type — your first guess dismisses it.
- The keyboard now opens reliably the moment the Daily Challenge appears. Type
  immediately, no tap needed.
- Fixed a rare issue where fast typing could drop letters in the guess field.
- iCloud sync status in Settings now explains itself — your progress is always
  safe on your device, even when iCloud takes a moment to catch up.
