WordSearchEasy turns your child's own spelling list — or one of 315 built-in topic lists — into a word search puzzle in seconds. Play it together on iPhone or iPad, or print it for paper. A word search is a classroom classic, and for a good reason: to find a word, a child has to hold its spelling in mind and check every letter in order. Do that with this week's spelling words and it becomes real revision that children ask to do again. YOUR CHILD'S OWN WORDS Type the list, paste it from a class message, or point the camera at the school sheet — the words are recognised on your device and become a puzzle straight away. Regenerate a fresh grid from the same list any time. 315 BUILT-IN TOPIC LISTS Cambridge YLE Starters, Movers and Flyers; Hong Kong Interview Prep and P1–P6; Singapore Kindergarten to P6; Taiwan Kindergarten to Grade 6 and GEPT Kids. Every word comes with a picture and a translation (Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Korean). THREE KINDS OF CLUE • Word — the classic puzzle, for meeting new words. • Picture / Meaning — the word is hidden; your child recalls the spelling before searching. This is what turns the game into practice. • Listen — the word is read aloud, closest to a spelling test. DIFFICULTY THAT FITS THE CHILD Easy 8×8 (across and down), Medium 10×10 (with diagonals), Hard 12×12 (all eight directions, decoy letters) — or set your own grid from 6×6 to 15×15 and choose exactly which directions are allowed. DRAG OR TAP Drag a line through the letters, or switch to Tap mode for younger children: tap each letter in turn, tap again to undo, no misses counted. Found words are read aloud and lock in colour. STARS, STREAKS AND MASTERY One to three stars per puzzle, a practice calendar, and a per-word record: a word counts as mastered after three finds without a hint, so you can see exactly which words still need a look before Friday.
