It’s a nice relaxing stress free word game.

Also the game centre doesn’t seem to work; was hoping to play same word grid with friends each day (setting turned on for this) but we’re seeing different sets of letters.

The game itself is very good and exactly as it describes itself. But... it overheats my (older) iPad, and gobbles up 30% of my battery in half an hour, despite turning on the app's “battery saver” and disabling the “tilt” option.  Maybe an option to disable all the background graphic's animations, or to have a choice between the default and a simpler less resource hungry background, would help? But, as it is now, even if I were to keep the charger in whilst playing, it wouldn’t prevent the overheating.

This is a great, simple, impeccably presented word game. I’m not sure the devs will ever update it again but personally, the mechanics for editing your chosen letters are SO CLUNKY. Can we not force press a letter and move it around within a word, to quickly evaluate permutations. Can we not click on a selected letter to unselect? Tweaks such as these would make it perfect 😊.

Ghat for example. I’m in my 80s and have never used the word. I will probably never use it. Normal words, if old, like sough, gat and gam are excluded. Oh yes, I verify the words I enter are in the dictionary. I verify those “strange” ones you sometimes use are also there.

Need to add the ability to swipe to enter a word, then submit the word at the end of the swipe.  99% of other word games do it that way and it’s a method players are used to. This game feels clunky without it.

This is a “fun”, well more like a slight boredom soother. It would be way better if there were a backspace button and a submit button. I HATE the swipe to submit, swipe some other goddamn direction to do every other action in the game with no hints or instructions and very little to tell you when you’ve submitted a word.
Makes sense why it’s a one time purchase,
I doubt anyone is playing this long term.

Also if it recognized valid words that would be great.

Is there s way to make the word you typed auto delete? Currently I have to delete everything manually after every single word. I don’t think I’ll keep playing a game that requires clearing after every turn but maybe there’s a way to change this that I’m just not seeing?

But as previous reviews have mentioned, some pretty common words not recognized. And understand the desire for visual simplicity but don’t like having to swipe so much for the sake of carpal tunnel and RSI and those with small hands. Thanks for your work!

A good game but super frustrating that it doesn’t recognize legit words but then takes all sorts of archaic words and spellings. I wish there was a way to request that it “add” legit words.

I really like the game. I enjoy spending time searching the puzzle (and my mind) for every possible word! The one thing I would like is to be able to have more than one new game per day. Sometimes I will open the game a few times a day only to realize that there are no new puzzles and nothing to do. More puzzles each day would make this an easy 5/5

This could have received the full five stars IF whoever compiled the wordlist actually uploaded an unabridged dictionary. Or at least given players the option. 

A noun is accepted but not its plural. Nor its adjective. 

Too many common words not accepted - whether using British or U.S. spelling. 

I am so frustrated i’m ready to delete the app.

Not that impressed with this game.  Calming to look at?  I guess.  Only allowing you to play one game a day?  Ridiculous.  Not for a paid app.  Difficult swipe to delete letters or erase words.  It’s a pain.  I’d rather just see a button you tap to enter the word and an “X” to delete.  Save your money.  Similar but better games can be found on the App Store and with no daily game limit and better controls.  What a disappointment.  Definitely regret purchasing this game.

I love this game but after finding all the words for the first time two days ago, the next 2 games are locked and the games I didn’t complete are shown as completed. One locked game is at 97% and the other at 48%. Why can I not continue? Please help.

It was interesting for a couple of days, but who can honestly be bothered trying to get every single 3, 4 & 5 letter words possible when the main challenge is trying to get the nine letter word. I’ve already uninstalled it, not worth buying.

The issue with this app is some words that are actually real words, don’t exist in this game. “Words” that aren’t actually words exist in this game. 

For example, Ween is a word but not in the game. Ins is not a word that I can find to exist anywhere other than as an abbreviation, but it exists in the game. 

That’s how they manage to make 9 letters span for 150+ “words”. It almost feels like a waste of time past getting 80-100 words.

This game is simple and so relaxing. Nice soft sound, no ads, no loud noises, no rush. It doesn’t recognize some words, but it is easy and fun to provide feedback using the in-app method. I’m glad that it doesn’t include obscure, weird words used in scrabble and crossword puzzles. Highly recommended!!!

I play almost every day but as a non-native speaker I often come across words I don’t know. An integration with the iOS system dictionary where I could look up the words I found would be awesome.

Relaxing if you want it to be- yet can be hard to finish. I like that you get only one game a day and I absolutely love that you can sync your games with friends via Gamecenter

I love how relaxing this game is. However, it's difficult to enjoy a word game that doesn't recognize valid words! On my first game, and it did not accept "hued" and "reshod" as well as others I can't remember off the top of my head. This kills the enjoyability of the game.

Edit: changing to 5 stars because the developer response was amazingly fast and I was informed that getting the best dictionary for the game without making it get too tediously bogged down in filler words is a challenge.  It’s clear that the developer wants to make the game the best possible and values user feedback.
