I couldn’t purchase it even if I wanted to. I have it installed on a new iPad. ### 4/5 — Lovely app, but marred by inappropriate ads *2017-02-24* The app itself is beautiful, well designed and great for educating kids in a really fun way. The problem is the ads: there are several ads inappropriate for children - e.g. Advertising casino/gambling games, and the ads appear at a very annoying time and too often. I suggest one ad at most every 5-10 words, and the ad should appear between words, not after we start placing letters. It's good that the in-app purchase removes all ads and unlocks all levels. Also, the hard level is supposed to be free but doesn't seem to work. I would give five stars if the ads were made more appropriate for kids and appeared less and at better times. I'd like to recommend this to other parents but would be reluctant to do so until these issues are resolved. **Developer response:** We are very strict about showing only kids safe advertisements in our apps. However sometimes advertisers play different tricks to get their ads approved. We will try our best to hunt these advertisers and block them altogether. Your request about the ads placement is noted and we'd surely incorporate the changes in our next update. There are multiple levels of play, from easy to champion. You can earn more coins by spelling each word correctly. Give the company some money and you'll unlock the more advanced levels. Or, you can opt to play and earn enough coins to unlock those levels and remove ads. I did manage to find a minor bug: How many coins are required in order to unlock the Hard level? This is not provided in that popup. I am the second person to rate against the choice of displaying the ads. I wouldn't have displayed the ads between the letter selection.
