## What is Wordy?

Learn a new language the way people actually speak it. Every word in Wordy arrives inside a real film or series scene — said by an actor, at full speed. Not a studio recording of someone reading slowly, and not a synthetic voice.

Now with two complete courses: English and Spanish.

HOW IT WORKS

You follow one clear path, a lesson at a time. Each lesson gives you a handful of new words, then drops them straight into a scene from a real movie or show, so you hear the word doing its job before you ever have to produce it.

Then you use it. Build the phrase from blocks, spell the word out, pick the meaning, hold a short conversation, and say the line out loud while the app listens and marks every word as you speak.

So I’ve been using the app a little over a month now and I was really enjoying it. But today I found a completely different app. Idk what motivated the changes but instead of simply teaching you vocabulary based on what you already know the information is much more structured and spoon fed to you. I’m not saying it’s a bad experience but i preferred the previous format. I especially liked the reviews. Like that is what was actually teaching me and helping me remember. I feel like it exposed me to a much wider range of words instead of having to go through 30 lessons of hi how are you. I. understand some people might prefer this more structured method but I just wish they at least kept the option for people who were using the app and enjoying it. Now I need to find another app for learning my vocab.
