### 1/5 — Terrible word game!

*2022-08-22*

Once you start to play you can’t pause or go back to review the rules. In fact there is no way to review the rules at all once you play your first game. The tiles don’t respond well so moving them is difficult especially when they are dropped by the sides of the game board. Touching the side of my I Pad results in a tab coming onto the game that covers the letters. Often when there are no vowels and you tap to get a new letter nothing happens. I play banana grams and it is far friendlier a game. What a disappointment! I was looking forward to playing this game.

**Developer response:** I’m sorry you’ve had that experience and am grateful for the feedback. There are a great many people that haven’t had these troubles. Certainly the rules tend to only be shown when you are clearly starting out. Sadly iPadOS’s new split screen feature may well interfere and I’ll look into addressing that in an update. Again thanks for the feedback; I’m sure that it’s not quite as bad as you’ve made out but I’ll look into what you’ve said nevertheless.

It’s worth being aware that if you don’t have a vowel or letter you might want, tapping on the button to request more tiles starts a timer that prevents you from making a request again immediately. That’s quite deliberate and it is explained. Reading tips and rules is really important with any game.

And just because you want a vowel doesn’t mean you will get one. The stack of tiles is fixed so you can only receive tiles that are still there (of course).

### 1/5 — Has potential,but glitchy

*2022-02-28*

Ended up deleting app. It freezes too frequently, usually when trying to add another letter.

**Developer response:** Thanks for your review and feedback. That version of Wordy Tile certainly shouldn’t be behaving like that and I’m sorry you had that experience.

### 2/5 — Fun but glitchy

*2021-12-29*

It’s exactly like the fruit game but without a way to play friends, only an untalented AI. It also freezes and has random glitches in the game that make it extremely frustrating.

### 3/5 — Nice game with issues

*2022-02-17*

Fun to play, but not sure of the rules ( why can’t I long-press tiles sometimes?). On iPad Pro get frequent lock-ups on the higher level version, where app has to be reset. Works fine on the lower 2 levels. Too many glitches!

### 3/5 — Fun but app crashes

*2021-12-27*

It’s fun. Very similar to a fruit-themed game I enjoy playing with my family. Totally unclear how the scoring works or what the numbers at the top of the game mean? But worth the $2 for sure!

**Developer response:** Thanks for your feedback. I appreciate the time you took to provide it. I’ll look at creating a tutorial system in the next update. In the meantime I have put together a simple web page explainer at: http://www.pkclsoft.com/wp/app/wordy-tile/

### 5/5 — Neat, simple and uncluttered.

*2019-07-24*

I love that I can always see all of my tiles. The AI is good; not to hard to beat but still presents a challenge.

Looking forward to more players joining in so that I can play humans too.

Must share with my friends and family now.
