## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Ne fonctionne pas…

*2022-10-07, version 2.2.0*

### 1/5 — good but

*2020-06-08, version 2.2.0*

it doesn't support personal accounts.

### 1/5 — Useless app

*2020-05-30, version 2.2.0*

Don’t download.

### 1/5 — If I Don’t Work, Microsoft Needs To Assist Me.

*2020-05-11, version 2.2.0*

Hello,
What a great-looking app! So, the only problem is I’m retired. Microsoft does NOT make it clear, until I enter an email address, that an EMPLOYER needs to authorize access. So I assume, since you’ve made it free and available to anyone, that Microsoft can provide a URL or Microsoft email address so I can use the app. Otherwise, this is a reportable offense. I will be so grateful for your cooperation and then no further complaints or other discussion needs to occur. I will email the developer also, but hopefully this will save others from any trouble over the next 24 hours. I’m sure he/she will have this fix in several minutes.

Extremely careless marketing and product placement, if I may be completely clear.

Kind Regards.

### 1/5 — Nice idea, however ...

*2019-12-12, version 2.2.0*

Wants me to have a certificate for my site. Great! Will you pay for it? Certificates should be free! I find the Microsoft idiotic frown smiley, which isn't smiling, to be very insulting. it's nice to turn the tables on an arrogant Microsoft. Have some frown emojis Microsoft 😦🙁😦😞😢😣😓

### 1/5 — Problem accessing app in local network

*2019-09-10, version 2.2.0*

Hi. I want to use this app to access a server on our local network or through VPN. When I setup the address. It give me an certificate error or not trusted. Is it possible to trust the self signed cert. or by pass cert. check when log in?

### 1/5 — No support for Macs

*2019-01-18, version 2.2.0*

Potentially awesome product, crippled by the fact it doesn’t support Mac clients — a death blow in just about any environment big enough to consider implementing Workfolders. Do they not have product marketing people at Microsoft that can figure this stuff out?

### 1/5 — Lacky app with little effort

*2018-09-10, version 2.1.1*

Can’t even delete files in the folder. Uploaded files through the app, refused to sync, can’t delete them, and now I can’t sync anything since all those failed files are still getting error.

### 1/5 — Does now work!

*2018-05-02, version 2.1.1*

This app asked for my email address, I type it in. I click go, it says network connection lost. I have tried this a dozen times this app is worthless.

## Most praised reviews (9 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Seems to do the job

*2020-08-01, version 2.2.0*

Seems to work okay

### 5/5 — Great potential

*2019-08-23, version 2.2.0*

This app works great! I am an IT administrator who needed a cheap means to host a OneDrive like service. Only nit pick is you cannot delete files on mobile, but hey it’s a work folder. Chances are you can just delete when you use desktop.

### 5/5 — Thank you Microsoft!

*2015-08-12, version 1.1.1*

This is a great app! Finally I have all my work documents on my phone/iPad easily. This reminds me of the "file manager " feature in blackberrys...

Right now you can view and send files right from your phone.

I would love to see a feature added so you can edit files as well.

Great work Microsoft.

### 4/5 — Touch ID

*2018-11-29, version 2.1.1*

Please eliminate the PIN prompt when Touch ID is enabled.

### 4/5 — Next version to support iPhone XS Max?

*2018-11-15, version 2.1.1*

Great app, when does the next version come out for full screen support of iPhone XS Max?

### 4/5 — Has potential

*2015-11-30, version 1.2.0*

If Workfolders in the future has the ability to Open and Edit documents in Microsoft Word and Excel for iPad and iPhone then save back to the Workfolders server, it has the potential to be a fantastic online/offline document file server and backup solution

### 3/5 — Still a little work to be perfect

*2016-12-12, version 1.2.2*

Hello,
It is really a problem that documents do not open automatically in their original application (docx ==> Word, PPT ==> Powerpoint ...).
Have you planned to develop this in the short term?
Regards

### 2/5 — iOS 10 not working

*2016-10-26, version 1.2.2*

This app worked perfectly on iOS 9. Since the upgrade to iOS 10 the app no longer connects to my work folders server. Successful accessing it on my partners iOS 9 device.

### 2/5 — Great for remote access!

*2016-03-07, version 1.2.0*

Files should be able to be opened full screen. There is also an issue with displaying correct colors (CMYK/RGB) when opening pdf files.
