Requesting your password, username or a combination of both should be one of them. I’ve spent an hour trying to register for the site and via the app and I was met with an initial error of the username. After fixing it there are parts of the page that are cleared and not highlighted like security questions and confirmation of the SSN. Upon submitting there is no longer any modal or alert that pops up. Instead it just refreshes the page and you have to review all the answers. The app would be incredibly useful if it worked. ### 1/5 — App Crashes *2024-07-27* Helpful tool; but needs developers attention. After opening the app it went on to crash five or six times. I deleted the app, installed again, and it continued crashing. Never before have people been so inclined to accept relocation as a normal part was the employment process. If any organization should understand this, it is the workforce commission, but it’s app is designed to make that process quite difficult. ### 2/5 — App & Website Functionality *2025-09-15, version 5.9.12* Bug Report – WorkInTexas App/Website Issue: Links and buttons across the site are non-responsive. A blank popup overlay appears and prevents users from clicking page elements. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Navigate to the WorkInTexas website or app. 2. Attempt to click on links/buttons. 3. Observe that a blank popup layer is present, blocking interactions. Expected Behavior: • When a user clicks outside the popup area, the popup should automatically close (standard UI/UX behavior). • Page links and buttons should remain accessible. Actual Behavior: • Popup does not close on outside click. • Overlay remains active and prevents interaction with page elements. Technical Note: Likely caused by incomplete or faulty JavaScript handling of the popup close event. Developers should review the JS code for event listeners tied to the popup. Temporary iOS Workaround: In Safari, users can use Hide Elements to hide the popup manually. Once hidden, page links become accessible. Available for work.
