### 4/5 — Shows as outdoor not indoor

*2025-02-14, version 1.2*

Great app. However trying to add and indoor run but it defaults to outdoor when I add it to the watch. Hopefully developer can sort it.

### 4/5 — Fantastic

*2024-12-29, version 1.1.2*

Not sure why this isn’t built in- great app. Missing some helpful features such as reordering workouts, copy/pasting blocks, etc but still very useful.

### 4/5 — Decent app

*2024-11-23, version 1.1.2*

A good tool for avoid trying to build workouts using the fiddly watch screen. In surprised Apple have not sherlocked this already! (It would be useful to be able to drag steps in a workaround around when editing)

### 5/5 — Easy to use

*2024-10-29, version 1.1.2*

Great app to create workouts on iPhone then send to your Apple Watch. Makes it easier to work with than using a small screen!

### 4/5 — Thank you

*2024-10-19*

Thanks Matt. Used for first time and beats trying to build a workout on my watch face.

### 5/5 — Works great!

*2024-10-16, version 1.1.1*

Just started using this. Working as expected. So much better than creating a custom workout on the watch or screensharing the watch face.

### 4/5 — Should be built into iOS!!

*2024-10-15, version 1.1.1*

Crazy we need an app for this! Love it though. I have one request: ability set defaults. For example when I create an alert it defaults to km, when I would like it to always be mile.

### 4/5 — Great Potential!!

*2024-08-23, version 1.0.2*

This app has great potential. I have not been using it very long, but I only have one critique at this time. That is to have the option to create an Indoor Cycle workout. Right now there is just an option on the App for Cycling only and when you upload it to your Apple Watch, it loads into the Outdoor Cycle activity. I have a trainer with my Trek DS bike on it using the Bontrager Duo Trap S Bluetooth device to track speed, distance and cadence and when using the Outdoor Cycle activity it did not calculate my speed and distance. When I use one of the pre installed Custom Indoor Cycle workouts on the Apple Watch it does track speed, distance and cadence.

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2024-08-22, version 1.0.2*

Exactly what I’ve been looking for…

### 5/5 — Exactly what I was looking for

*2024-05-24, version 1.0.2*

👍👍👍 just missing a sharing feature

### 5/5 — Really useful App

*2024-04-16, version 1.0.2*

Some suggestions:
1. Add support for kilometers
2. Add option to delete the custom workouts

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — iOS 26

*2025-09-26, version 1.2*

Broken on iOS 26

### 2/5 — Missing functionality or maybe I don’t get it

*2025-05-26, version 1.2*

I paid for the premium in app purchase for programming an interval workout to send to my apple watch. It appears the app doesn’t allow for multiple steps in a single block. For example, I want to repeat 5x: 1 minute zone 2, 1 minute zone 3, 1 minute zone 4, 3 minute recovery. The app doesn’t allow me to add more than one step to each repeat block. :(

### 2/5 — Can’t reorder blocks

*2024-11-27, version 1.1.2*

Would be great if you could reorder the workout blocks. But motor, if you want to add one at the beginning, you have to re-build your entire workout. Even the watchOS app lets you reorder.

### 2/5 — Easy to use, but no indoor options

*2024-10-23, version 1.1.2*

Easy to use and create custom workouts. However, when I try to create a custom indoor run and set location to indoor, it sets it up in the app as an outdoor run.

### 3/5 — Ok - not great

*2024-12-27, version 1.1.2*

Paid for the app, hoping to save time with complex workouts. The app is a bit crude. I was trying to build a progressive run where each mile gets 10sec faster. Problem is, when you add each mile, the options revert each time to target being heart rate, then you switch to pace, and the default is per km and not mile. Changing these “defaults” on each work step is more work than just building the workout on the watch.

### 3/5 — Indoor Running

*2024-10-03, version 1.1.1*

I do a mix of indoor and outdoor running workouts. I paid the $10 hoping indoor running was a premium option but I was wrong. Add indoor running as an option and I’ll be a happy user.

Update…It does have the indoor running now but only as a simple workout. My wish list continues…,it would be great to do advanced workouts with the indoor option.

### 3/5 — Indoor Running

*2024-09-23*

I do a mix of indoor and outdoor running workouts. I paid the $10 hoping indoor running was a premium option but I was wrong. Add indoor running as an option and I’ll be a happy user.

**Developer response:** Hi, as of iOS 18 / watchOS 11 you should be able to choose Indoor or Outdoor when you send your workout to your paired Apple Watch. Let me know how it goes :)

### 3/5 — Good to a point

*2024-04-14, version 1.0.2*

Reasonable UI and can create workouts for free which is excellent but I’d pay for the ability to set alerts such as HR zones or power zones (rather than yet another set of workouts from another source)

### 3/5 — Needs a bit more refinement

*2024-03-02, version 1.0.2*

Very useful to send workouts to my AWU.

Would like to see that app not allow you to make workouts in advance if they are not allowed rather than tell you after you’ve spend a while making a workout - such as with swimming.

Also would like to see km in the distances rather than just meters. Or maybe an imperial/metric selector.

But it’s free - so big thanks for making it.

### 4/5 — I finally got the app to sync

*2026-06-04, version 1.2*

Still need to test in the pool but great for running

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Super helpful!

*2026-04-21, version 1.2*

I really love this app! It makes it so much easier for me to create running intervals or even run x other things (I do CrossFit). When I’m doing runs and machine work or other movements I just set a long period of time for the non runs and hit next on my watch during to go to the next interval. It’s really helpful for tracking how long things take me and getting data for my specific runs. Way easier than trying to do it directly on my Apple Watch with the super tiny screen

### 5/5 — Exactly what I needed

*2025-10-05, version 1.2*

I really didn’t like building custom workouts in my Watch due to the small screen, so this app made it super easy, very useful. Thanks!

### 5/5 — Nice!!!

*2025-08-13, version 1.2*

A simple and straightforward app that serves a very useful purpose and saves time

### 5/5 — Invaluable

*2025-08-05, version 1.2*

This app is the only thing that makes creating custom running workouts bearable. I’d be tempted to get a Garmin and ditch the Apple Watch for workouts if it wasn’t for this app.

### 5/5 — Amazing App!

*2025-05-25, version 1.2*

Awesome integration to my Apple Watch!! Makes workouts easy to track and will continue using it for marathon training!

### 5/5 — Great App! Missing just one feature

*2025-05-21, version 1.2*

I’m loving the app to build my running workouts. However I’m missing the total minutes/distance of the workout after building it.
It would be nice to have so I can control the volume of the workout!

Thanks

### 5/5 — Lots of potential

*2025-05-20, version 1.2*

I’m liking the app so far, lots of control for users as it’s highly configurable, but that may be overwhelming for some. I cannot believe Apple doesn’t allow this in the activity app already, configuring a run with intervals or anything else is a pain when using the tiny Apple Watch screen. Suggestion, you can’t really see the cursor in input fields. Can you make it more prominent? It’s hard to change numbers because of this.

### 5/5 — Critical for interval workouts

*2025-04-01, version 1.2*

Embarrassing for Apple to rely on the community for such basic functionality. It is much nice to define workouts on my phone rather than a tiny watch screen. Thank you for maintaining this tool.

### 5/5 — We shouldn’t need this but I’m grateful it exists

*2025-02-18, version 1.2*

It’s so weird that this app needs to exist. I paid 10 bucks so that I don’t have to stand there poking at my watch for 20 minutes. Thank you for solving this problem for me.

### 5/5 — Simple yet effective

*2024-11-16, version 1.1.2*

Great app. I needed something simple to build intervals on the AW, but found the watch face small. This app bridges the gap at a very cost-effective price point. Weill done developer, I appreciate your work.
