## What is Workout Log?

Workout Log is a simple, focused gym tracker built for people who just want to record their workouts and see their progress over time.

LOG YOUR WORKOUTS
Create workouts, add exercises, and log sets with weight and reps. Supports any weight format — numbers, "BW" for bodyweight, "red band" for resistance bands, whatever you use.

BROWSE YOUR HISTORY
Two ways to look back: a chronological list grouped by week, or a calendar view to jump straight to a specific date.

TRACK YOUR PROGRESS
A dashboard with overview stats and per-exercise charts showing your weight and rep trends over time. See exactly how far you've come.

ICLOUD SYNC
Your data is stored privately with CloudKit and syncs automatically across all your iPhone and iPad devices. No account needed beyond your Apple ID.

MAKE IT YOURS
Six color themes — Aurora, Ember, Rose, Ice, Acid, and Violet — each with dark and light variants. Available in English, Danish, German, Spanish, French, Norwegian, and Swedish.
No ads. No subscriptions required to use the core app. No third-party servers — your data stays in Apple's ecosystem.

Terms of Use (EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.4 — 2026-09-16

Swipe left to delete a workout, an exercise, or a single set
Jump to your calendar from a new toolbar button
Your most recent workout now shows automatically when you open the app
Live Activity now tracks your first exercise instead of your last
Fixed a rare hang and other stability improvements

### 1.3 — 2026-08-26

Redesigned profile
Settings now live in a cleaner hub with a dedicated screen for each section, so everything is easier to find.
A better Exercise Story
The exercise chart now leads with your latest top set, best estimated 1RM, and last volume. New personal records are marked right on the line, and you pick the exercise from the chart itself.
Fixes
• The Live Activity now follows the first exercise of a workout started from a template, instead of the last one in the list.
• Bodyweight sets suggest the right weight again when you add a set.
• On first launch, a tip points out the button that starts your first workout.

### 1.2 — 2026-08-10

APPLE HEALTH
• Sync your workouts to Apple Health — every logged session is saved as a strength training workout.
• Calories and heart rate recorded by your Apple Watch now appear on the workout, replacing the app's estimate.
• Workouts you logged in other apps count toward your weekly goal.
• Set up faster: read body weight, age, and biological sex from Health, and write weight changes back.
NEW
• 11 suggested workout templates — Push/Pull/Legs, Upper/Lower, Full Body, and a 5-day split. Tap one to start training.
• Leave feedback straight from the Profile tab.
• "BW" sets now count as your bodyweight in Progress charts, total volume, and insights.
• New app icon and launch screen.
FIXES
• Tapping an empty reps or weight field now drops the suggested number into the field so you can edit it directly.
• Fixed the rest timer permission prompt on a fresh install.

### 1.1 — 2026-07-14

Rest smarter between sets.

• Rest Timer — start a countdown with one tap after any set, with a customizable duration and an alert when it's time to lift again.
• Live Activity — keep your rest timer front and center on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, so you never have to open the app to check the clock.

Plus small fixes and refinements to keep your logging fast and smooth. Thanks for using Workout Log!
