### 4/5 — Good app

*2020-10-19, version 3.0.1*

One thing I wish I could do is order my workouts by the day vs the routine. If you input a routine, it won’t allow you to rearrange it on the first screen. Other than that, pretty efficient.

### 4/5 — Okay...

*2020-07-08, version 2.10*

many features need to be improved upon, yet the concept is great

### 4/5 — Almost perfect

*2020-03-27, version 2.10*

I love this app. The only issues I have with it is that there is not an in-app notification, ding or sound when the timer reaches 0 (if you’re in the app, there’s no way to know the timer is finished without checking it) and I can’t go back into an exercise and edit the name without completely deleting and re-typing it.

### 4/5 — Almost

*2020-01-13, version 2.6*

Exactly what i want in app but downloaded today and its already crashed 4 times when i try to save. Unless this bug is fixed its not worth it.

### 5/5 — Closing app fix

*2019-10-14, version 2.3*

Closing app issue when iPhone times out is fixed. I Left review about issue and developers resolved issue. Thanks

### 3/5 — Problems since the recent update

*2019-09-23, version 2.0*

I have been using this app for almost a year without problems. Since the most recent update it crashes when I try to save my workout reps/sets/weight as well as crashing when running the timer. I love the app for what it is, but please fix the crashing problem with this newest release. It is a simple and effective app otherwise. My only complaint with the operation is the inability to edit a workout by moving a lift amongst the other lifts I have set up (and crashing).

### 4/5 — Simple

*2019-07-30, version 1.3.1*

As a woman just starting out at the gym I want to use something simple to keep track of what Im lifting, what machines I’m using, seat position and set up of machine etc. this is simple and straightforward. It’s easier to have this at my fingertips on my phone than to carry a pad or a clipboard around.

### 5/5 — Old and lifting

*2019-07-16, version 1.3.1*

Great app very simple to use. I’m using the preloaded program and love it. Wish it connected with Apple health to further keep track of my progress.

### 4/5 — Its Fairly Good

*2019-07-11, version 1.3.1*

its a pretty good workout log but there are a few thing i recommend. for instance, i feel they should add something for like if you are doing cardio they should add amount of time you want to spend in that machine or etc. another thing i feel could be great for the app is the ability to reorder your exercises to better fit your workout needs. besides all the things i feel should be added, the app is top-notch no doubt about it.

### 4/5 — Needs slight tweaking

*2019-06-06, version 1.3.1*

Works great for logging without signing up and ads BS, so it’s hard to complain but could use some small additions.

You can’t reorganize the order of your exercise on a particular day, whatever order you put in your exercises and you forget to add one it’s out of order and you have to redo the whole list.

The other addition would be adding rep and set range for instance 2-3 set of 8-10 reps of an exercise. Though that’s not as important as being able to reorganize the order of the exercise.

Besides that it’s a solid workout log.

### 5/5 — Perfection

*2019-03-12, version 1.3.1*

Doesn’t have ads, doesn’t charge for features, doesn’t give you stuff you don’t need. It’s simple, yes, but that’s what makes it amazing. I had no trouble quickly and easily typing my workouts into this app. Now I don’t need to bring a clipboard to the gym. I should mention this is the ONLY app I found that doesn’t limit how many workouts/routines you can add. All the other ones charge for that feature.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Disappointed

*2024-11-09, version 5.3.2*

Not really impressed. It has great potential but I purchased the Pro version and it doesn’t work. The app shows it’s purchased and I’ve updated it many times but won’t recognize it’s on there. So all features are not available. It crashes many times. It’s a great concept and I would use it more. Fix the bugs and it’s will be good. At this moment “do not recommend”.

### 1/5 — No history or export

*2020-12-19, version 3.2.1*

Waste of money. Paid for the pro version and no history or progress charts as shown on the store page.

### 1/5 — Can’t edit

*2019-01-19, version 1.3*

I was looking for a simple workout app. I thought this would be it until I discovered I can’t edit the names of my days or the number of sets. If there’s a way to do it it certainly isn't intuitive.

### 2/5 — Unable to edit sets & reps

*2020-03-15, version 2.10*

If I plan a custom routine I should be able to increase or decrease sets based on reps, but can’t without deleting each exercise, not very practical. I will buy the paid version, if that’s a limitation of the free version, but I’m note sure it is!

### 2/5 — Difficult to edit

*2019-11-11, version 2.5.1*

I have found no way to change the order of exercises without completely re-entering everything for the day. (Update: I have added new exercises to my program for my 3-day cycle, and that means they will always be listed last. For instance, I like to do abdominal work first, but I failed to enter them before listing all of the others. So to enter my crunch reps and weights, I have to scroll to the end of the long list, perform the type of crunch or sit-up for the day, enter the data, and then scroll back up to start that day’s body part work. If there was a select box by the title, you could click and then drag the whole exercise to put it in your preferred order.)

Typos can’t be edited, they must be entered, again. (Update: I have found that if I am very careful about where I click into the comment box below each set, I can make edits, but click too close to the existing text and it is gone)

No indication of how many characters are allowed in the name of exercise box. If you enter more than the limit, you can’t scroll to the right to see the hidden text.

### 2/5 — Missing key functionality

*2019-11-04, version 2.5.1*

I want to like this app. It is simple to use and nearly perfect for my needs, but lacks delete functionality when creating routines. If you make a mistake setting up a routine, the only option is to create an entirely new routine. Routines can consist of many exercises that can take plenty of time to set up. It is an unnecessary frustration that will have you looking at other apps.

### 2/5 — App functionality limited?

*2019-06-18, version 1.3.1*

Maybe My app didnt load right, but after building my routines I cant seem to log any work outs. It brings up a form, but theres no history or submit button and when i move on to the next exercise the data disappears.

### 3/5 — Fairly Good Training Log

*2021-05-22, version 4.5.1*

Easy to use, Fairly basic which is fine, nothing fancy or complicated, I like that it shows the weights used on your previous workout. Weights and reps for prior workout would make it so much better! My issue is... in order to see any of the history tracking information, charts, etc you must upgrade from the free version. To upgrade it simply says $2.99. Nowhere can I find more info... Is it $2.99 one time? $2.99 a month? $2.99 a day or week?

### 3/5 — It’s good not great

*2021-03-11, version 4.3*

I do not like how when u change workouts in a routine and when u delete workouts it deletes all your progress for that workout. Hey man, workouts change I don’t wanna delete it from my previous workouts and data. I switched bicep curl for preacher curl then when I did that it deleted all my progress for my bicep curls that I’ve ever done. That’s not ok and needs to be fixed

### 3/5 — Good free app but lacks some features

*2019-12-13, version 2.6*

Edit: I like some of the paid features that allow you to save workout history, but you can’t edit it. Also it’s acclumative, if I save after set 1, 1 set shows up in the history. If I hit save after the 2nd set, there are 3 sets saved. 1 for 1st set, and the 2 that include 1st and 2nd set. And it just continues to add up.

This app is good in that it is simple and free. You can create custom workouts and routines and logging is easy. The problem is that it doesn’t track or save your progress. There is no graph or calendar that you can check. You can only see the weights/reps/notes from the previous workout. So unless you log it elsewhere you can’t see how much weight you’ve added to lifts or how long you’ve been stuck on a plateau etc. Would like to be able to click finished on a workout and have it save somewhere so you can go back and check.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2021-01-26, version 4.1.1*

If enjoyed the app since August and the changes to the app. Everyone I think something should be added it ends up in the next download. The recent one finally added ability to drag the exercises however it doesn’t allow me to save it placing the exercises back in its original order. Other than that I’d like to share my work outs to other people who are interested in my particular routine. This has been a great app! Thanx for the new features. Wow what a update this week. Love it man, keep it up.

### 5/5 — Perfect workout app!
