## What is Workout Timer Essential?

Hi, my name is Alessandro, 23yo from Italy. I've been going to the gym since I was a teen and I've tried pretty much all the gym apps in the App Store, both paid and not.
Nothing worked. 
They were either cluttered messes, no longer maintained, terribly designed or simply not working anymore.
So I've set out to design my own, targeting the latest Apple hardware and Development Kit, sticking to the true simplicity of a bicolor, essential layout.
I decided to share it with you, for free, with a small in app purchase to remove ads if you want to support the development, hoping you'll enjoy it as much as I do.

Couldn’t find any other app that does this one simple needed feature.

I’d like to be able to set the length of rest periods so I don’t have to tap the app.  I would like something where I can set the number of sets, the number of reps, the length of the work period, and the length of the rest period between sets or reps.  So, three sets of ten reps, working for 30 seconds, with ten seconds of rest, then tapping to go to the next set is fine.

Like the simplicity, choice of colors, feature of being able to mute the sound from the app.

**Developer response:** I designed this app for simple weights workouts where you don’t have and don’t need to time your reps but only the rest period. I think you’ll be better suited with other apps from the store. I’m sorry for your bad experience but i never advertised this feature and i hope you will update your review accordingly. Have a nice day!
