Since we switched to WS from our old platform there are constant issues we are contacting support about on a weekly basis. It is VERY frustrating to us recruiters. Most recently ALL of our candidates were deleted from our job pipelines. This is a widespread issue effecting multiple companies. I will say support is very helpful when issues arise but these issues should NOT be happening. I would not recommend this system to a company for recruiting and hiring needs. ### 2/5 — Crash’s a lot *2022-08-05* App keeps crashing would love to use it on my phone but no matter how many times I uninstall it and download it again it keeps happening. ### 1/5 — Crashing problem *2022-08-05* Yall need to fix the crashing problem this was never an issue and now it is. The app keeps crashing. And all of my software is updated. I keep having to delete the app and re downloading it. Not great as I have to use this app for work. Hopefully this gets fixed so companies don’t decide to go someplace else. ### 3/5 — App Crashing *2022-07-30* My company has been using this service/app for almost 6 months. I can speak for us all we love it! It’s very convenient & makes it so we can hire more than ever before. Also helps with scheduling interviews as most of the time we are extremely busy doing other task. I would give this app 5 start but recently the app only crashes. I have deleted & reinstalled multiple times unfortunately it’s the same outcome, It is unusable which is veryyy disappointing. Please fix this problem ASAP. ### 1/5 — Great app but *2022-07-25* Keeps crashing so it’s unusable, crashes at launch over and over. Uninstalled and installed and it does the same. Restarted my phone same thing ### 1/5 — Just plain terrible app *2022-02-22* My company started using this a year ago and it has been fine. But ever since the latest update whenever I try to use the app on my phone I get ERROR-2 THE NETWORK IS OUT OF SERVICE. And the app just freezes. Before if I relogged into it it would work, but now it is just a useless app. ### 2/5 — Key Issues I have *2022-02-11* I get kicked out of the app very often and have to sign in all over again. Not very functional and does not save your email or password for an easy log in. This happens multiple times in a day. Additionally, whenever I want to take notes on a candidate while I am on a call with them, the notes box does not extend as you type. So one phone call that would normally be one long detailed note (web version), is now 3 or 4 separate notes that I have to save (Mobile version). ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Worst App *2025-12-02, version 1.12.8* This is the worst app in the history of the apps ### 1/5 — Constantly logs me out *2025-08-09* App constantly logs me out and doesn’t even have an option to save the password, absolutely horrible ### 1/5 — 90% of candidates don’t show up. *2025-05-27* I have used workstream at different restaurants now. Although it is easy for the management point of view, I would say that 1 of 10 candidates show up. The app should have a way to review the history of applicants and if they use to not show up to interviews constantly. A fan -JB ### 5/5 — Great app for hiring fast with texting! *2019-04-22, version 1.0.1* Great app for restaurants, retail, hotels, hospitality or any companies hiring hourly workers, and end to end via texting with applicants! I’m able to use the Workstream app to text applicants (without sharing my own phone number), review resumes, move them through different stages and see all their info. The design is very clean, easier to use and quick for me to navigate around. It helps me to quickly source for applicants, screen them automatically and schedule meetings an interviews. It even syncs my interview meetings with my google calendars and all interactions with applicants is over texting. It works really well and I will be getting my whole team to use it for their hiring and screening. Amazing hiring and screening tool all on my mobile phone.
