The feature was removed. I could initially contact them but now I can’t create new ticket Update: Need to update the phone number registered with this app but no customer service is available. Can’t input my payment info without the correct phone number. Update: Customer service via email was very helpful. Got the situations sorted out. Got jobs, completed them, and am getting paid. I’ve had multiple payments withheld because a bank account was supposed to be switched, but nobody helped me do it on my end. I had no availability to change my bank account, and I reached out three days in advance to get paid on my next payment. Instead of making it right, they decided to say, “Hey, there’s nothing we can do.” They blamed it on their partner, saying they couldn’t do anything about it. They’re partnered with another company, blah blah blah. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Very disappointing app *2026-08-17, version 2.66.0* I tried to schedule work two separate times, the first I scheduled myself, went to Corvallis to work a Beavers game, there were nobody there that even knew about this company, so strike 1, then I got a permanent job, and had to cancel a shift and now it looks like I have been completely removed. These apps seem like a good idea, but seems and is are different. ### 1/5 — Very racist & quite discriminatory. FULL OF HATRED *2026-08-17, version 2.66.0* I have submitted my request very politely to have them update my phone number so that I can take jobs where I am required to use my phone number to get a hold of the manager. These people at WorkWhile have ignored my request for over a month and they can care less. Totally shameful knowing that a company which headquarters is based in CA is this racist, discriminatory and full of hatred. This sounds more like a company based in Texas or any other red state. I do not recommend it whatsoever. Lack of professionalism, people with tons of restrictions which behaviors confirm why they have been banned from getting a regular job. Simply very toxic unprofessional work environments where managers lack of techniques to actually create a positive, healthy and professional work environment. It did not. The last shift I went and I was clocked in and I was told that I will get paid four hours. This app has not paid me for that shift. They really have not paid me anything and nobody has helped me out in this app. I don’t get no help whatsoever upon getting paid for what I deserve. Do you know what I am done with you guys you guys have not helped me one bit and I have contacted customer service several times nothings. It’s the same answer over and over again. So I would not recommend you guys for how you actually treat the workers. Thank you apparently I’m not gonna get my $75 for you guys. However, I can’t even get past the background check from them. They won’t let me work because I was flagged for 2 accidents where I was NOT at-fault. I asked for a manual reviews and they just sent me the same thing!??? I drive for a living right now and wanted to pick up some extra shifts. I guess they either don’t have actual humans reviewing this or they don’t care. Either way there are too many different apps for me to be stuck on them. I will definitely tell people to look elsewhere before trying “WorkWhile” since I can’t even work. ### 1/5 — Overly bogus *2026-07-16, version 2.66.0* ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. In all my 35 years of life I’ve never had the problem I’m having with my ID verification. I have taken the pictures (front and back) any and everywhere you can think of and it will not verify me. I have an iPhone 15pro max come on now, no reason why it keeps telling me the picture isn’t clear enough. At this point I think they don’t want to verify me because I have a referral bonus just sitting in the app that I cannot even cash out until I add a debit card. I can’t add a debit card until my ID is verified. You see where I’m going this is stupid. I no longer want to even work on the app. I can’t sign up for a job until my ID is verified. I don’t even care to sign up for a job anymore. I just wanna get my money out of this app and be done with it because the last two weeks trying to verify my ID it’s too much. This app has made my blood pressure go up because I’m sitting here looking at money that’s mine that I can’t access and nobody cares. i’ve contacted customer support. I keep messaging in the app and they don’t care. They’re not even responding anymore, I found the phone number. I left a voicemail. She emailed me back yesterday and now they’re not responding anymore. Nobody cares and I just want my money off this app and be done. ### 1/5 — Not worth it! *2026-07-09, version 2.66.0* Don’t take jobs for NAPA, if your on the app. 8hr workday cut into 4 hrs. Most NAPA stores that are scheduled are 50min+ commute.
