## What is workX Field?

workX Field puts work orders in the crew's hand. Purpose-built for transportation maintenance crews, it replaces paper forms and the double entry that follows.

Today, crews write up their work on paper, and a clerk or someone who wasn't on the job keys it into a system after the fact. That second pass takes time, and every hand-off is a chance for errors, missing details and lost context about what was actually done. With workX Field, the person who did the work records it once, at the point of work, with the photos and other supporting details only they have.

It is the field companion to workX, the maintenance work management system for state DOTs and other transportation agencies. An agency workX account is required.

FOR CREWS
- Know the day's work: assigned work orders and inspections, with location, activity and other details in one place
- Keep working without a signal: download assignments and maps before you head out, work through dead zones, and upload when you are back in range
- Record the work as you do it: quantities, materials, equipment, crew hours and any direct costs, with before and after photos and notes
- Submit once, with no clipboard and no end-of-shift re-entry

FOR SUPERVISORS
- Completed work arrives with its evidence: photos, actual quantities, materials and labor, ready to review and verify
- Actuals against estimates give you a clearer view of cost, productivity and crew workload

FOR THE AGENCY
- A reliable maintenance history tied to the specific assets and locations that were worked on, ready for audits, reporting and budget requests
- No or less duplicate data entry and fewer transcription errors between the field and the office, saves time and money
- One connected workflow from planning to scheduling to field execution to verification

BUILT FOR THE FIELD
- Phone and tablet layouts
- Designed for low or no signal
- Nothing is uploaded until you review it and choose to send

An agency-provided sign-in is required. Contact your agency's workX administrator for access.
