## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.20 — 2026-08-02

WorkX now focuses on planning, training, and progress.

Build templates, track every set, and follow your strength journey on iPhone and Apple Watch.

### 1.0.19 — 2026-05-06

You can now use AI to quickly fill in exercise details when creating a new exercise, making setup faster and easier.

Workout planning is more flexible now. You can add optional exercises to templates, skip them when needed, and your workout calculations and completion prompts will handle those choices more accurately.

Live workouts feel smoother with streamlined exercise actions, easier access to exercise info, rest times that carry forward based on your previous performance, and smarter navigation back to your next incomplete set.

Exercise editing has been simplified, and split-load weight entry and display are now more consistent and accurate, including more realistic per-side weight steps.

You can now track your water intake in the app.

The Apple Watch experience is better with heart rate metrics, a smoother rest timer flow, and more reliable workout syncing and state updates.

Getting started is easier with expanded onboarding and guided tutorials, including practice flows to help you learn the app.

The iPad experience has been improved with a more adaptive app layout, and measurements navigation is easier to use on larger screens.

Backup and restore has been improved with a simpler JSON backup format, and you can now clear all app data from Settings when needed.

Fixed several issues affecting workout creation, planning, duplication, dismissal, progression comparisons, skipped exercises, and general copy clarity.

### 1.0.9 — 2026-04-17

You can now skip exercises during a live workout, get recommended superset partners, and use a streamlined exercise menu with quicker access to actions like adding sets and setting rest time.

Warm-up handling is smoother throughout workouts, with clearer indicators, a simpler editing experience, and improved layout on Apple Watch.

Meal navigation is smarter, so moving between days takes you directly to days that actually have meals, and it’s easier to jump back from the meal list.

Exercise details are clearer across the app, with improved muscle, equipment, and exercise type display in analytics, plus cleaner weight formatting.

Settings are easier to use with simpler inline selection lists.

Weight entry is more reliable by matching allowed plate increments.

Fixed several workout-related crashes, including issues that could happen when dismissing planned or deleted workouts or when deleting workouts and exercises.

### 1.0.8 — 2026-03-29

You can now set individual nutrition goals for carbohydrates and fat alongside your existing calorie and protein targets, giving you full control over your daily macro targets.

AI nutrition estimation now includes food descriptions so you get more context about what was recognized when logging meals.

The set editing experience has been redesigned. You can now modify sets from previous exercises within the same session, making it easier to go back and correct entries without losing your place.

Completed exercise groups are now locked in the reorder view, so you can reorganize upcoming exercises without accidentally shuffling work you have already finished.

The measurements hub now supports tracking multiple metrics side by side. You can log and trend different body measurements in one place.

Trend charts now visually distinguish partial-day data from complete days, so today's in-progress totals are clearly separate from finalized historical entries.

Sharing your weight trend chart now produces a cleaner, better-composed image.

Settings have been tidied up and reorganized for easier navigation. The rest timer no longer plays a sound on completion — vibration is still available if enabled.

### 1.0.7 — 2026-03-20

You can now customize warm-ups with more granular controls, making it easier to set up prep sets the way you like.

Weight trend charts are clearer and more informative, with raw data overlaid alongside the trend view and improved formatting for easier reading.

Fixed an issue where the rest timer progress bar could display incorrectly after extending the timer.
