### 1/5 — Can’t search for cities

*2026-08-14*

When adding cities in the pair creation, I type in San Fransisco and it says it can’t find it, neither does Sunnyvale or any city for that matter . Only thing that works was using location.

**Developer response:** Thank you for taking the time to write this - I’m sorry you ran into it. Searching for a city is the first thing Timo asks you to do, so having it fail right there is a poor first impression, and I understand the frustration.

That being said, I haven't managed to reproduce it on my end yet, which is why
I'd love to hear more from you. In the meantime, the next update will let you pick a time zone directly whenever search comes up empty - so you're never left with only "Use My Location".

If you're willing to help me track down the cause, or just want a hand getting set up, I'm at hello@loam.sk and I read every message.

### 5/5 — Simple and Beautiful

*2026-07-12*

I like the visual display of both time zones in one, it’s done really simply and picking a location’s time zone is much simpler than apple’s world clocks. You can pick a city instead of searching by time zone which removes friction, I like the live slider for checking what time it was or will be, comes in handy. Overall a really great app that’s free to use, highly recommend!

**Developer response:** So happy to hear you've enjoyed using Timo! Your feedback is incredibly valuable and helps us improve the app. Feel free to reach out if you have any suggestions or need further assistance. Thank you for being a great user!

### 5/5 — Really beautiful and useful

*2026-05-16*

I like the approach in design and usability. And support is actually awesome. Highly recommended

**Developer response:** Thank you for your kind words and review. We're thrilled to hear that you appreciate the design and usability of Timo. We're always eager to improve and will keep your feedback in mind as we work on future updates. :)

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.3 — 2026-08-17

Add a pair by typing its time zone abbreviation — PST, GMT, CET, JST, and more — no need to already know which city uses it. Plus, switch any pair to show zone abbreviations instead of city names, so the time difference reads at a glance.

NEW
• Timezone display — switch any pair to show abbreviations like "CET" and "GMT" instead of city names, for an at-a-glance time difference. Find it in the pair's edit screen under Display.

IMPROVED
• Search by timezone — add a pair by typing a zone abbreviation (PST, GMT, CET, JST, AEST…) directly. Ambiguous abbreviations like CST or IST show every matching real-world zone so you pick the right one.

### 1.2 — 2026-07-14

Timo now speaks your language! The entire app is available in German, Spanish, Japanese, and Portuguese (Brazil) — switch it in your device's language settings.

FIXED
• The Rate Timo button now always opens the App Store review page.

### 1.1 — 2026-07-07

Timo is now a true time zone converter — drag the dial to convert one pair or your whole board at once. Plus: Lock Screen widgets and a Control Center shortcut.

NEW
• Time Converter — tap any pair and drag the dial, or jump to a date, to see the time difference at any moment. Scheduling calls across time zones no longer needs mental math.
• Convert everything at once — the dial in the toolbar shifts every pair together, so you can see your whole world at Friday 9:00.
• Lock Screen widgets — both cities, their local times, day phases, and the hour difference, right on your Lock Screen.
• Add pairs faster — a new Control Center control opens Timo ready to add a city pair. Works with the Action button too.

IMPROVED
• Card colors now flow smoothly between dawn, day, dusk, and night as the time changes.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-06-16

• The widget now stays in step with your iPhone's clock — no more falling up to a minute behind
• Fixed an issue where one of several Timo widgets on your Home Screen could stop updating

### 1.0.1 — 2026-05-13

- Widget now looks correct in tinted and clear widget styles — time-of-day and offset badges are always readable
- No internet? You can now pick a timezone manually when searching for a location offline
- Group names in the pairs list now appear as glass capsules
- Performance improvements across the app
